  • ...i swear i saw Bigfoot run by your house! :P

  • I thought this was going to be something like a house falling apart progressively after the kids became teens in 2006 and ran the place down or something. Just kidding. :-) LOL Nice job. This does capture the seasons of New England well. I like the peace sign in the window.

  • your house changes colour

  • Woolwich (on route 1, near Bath)

  • Nice pics! I live in Maine. Where are you?

  • It would suck to be the camera man

  • @patricio6143

The video was taken with a web cam mounted to the window of my workshop. I programmed it to save a picture every day at noon. No cameraman required. At the end of the year I imported all the pictures into Windows Movie Maker and converted them to a movie. Pretty simple.

  • @tekartist it was a joke

  • Nice home. I've never been to Maine but I would like to come up there and get some of that great sea food. I just don't think I could handle the Winters up there. I live in Illinois and they're bad enough here. Anyway, you guys have a beautiful state and I hope I get to visit sometime soon.

  • what a mild climate maine. snow for barely 3 months a year, try colorado where only jun, july and august are snow free, although in the high country only august is generally snow free. what a an easy life you have.

  • @telemarker77

That was an unusually mild winter for us. This year (09/10) we had over 3 feet of snow in several big storms that left snow cover from December through early March.

But yeah, we get off easy compared to you guys.

  • that sucks balls. people here bitch about 4 inches

  • @DataC0llect0r

  • on 0:39 was that a chicken

  • No, that was our neighbor's dog Kia, may he rest in peace. He used to "guard" our property too.

  • I love the peace sign in the window!

    :)

  • Excellent. What a beautiful house

  • i love your house! i moved to the northeast last year (from georgia) and i was amazed and at the snow melts then comes right back.

    great video

  • The trees didn't bloom until June?! They had leaves for only four months! Even Anchorage, AK has a longer growing season than that.

  • Such a cute little house. I love it!

  • hello from a fellow mainer :-) cool footage, really need to see the seasons come and go.

  • Very nice! What's the gardening season? Ever put a hoop house over the beds?

  • Our Gardening season is late May though early October for the hardy veggies.

  • Cool video..and your house is lovely!!...I was waiting for all the Walton family to run out, or those girls from Little House on the Prairie!!xxx

  • Yeah, I sit here in my 2nd floor office where the web cam is and get warm fuzzies just looking at the house. You can see the current webcam view on my site at arttec-dot-net. Image updates hourly in daylight hours.

  • ahhh wat kept the flies out until may lol

  • I love it, especially the long ass shadows in the winter, that tree behind your house isnt in leaf for very long though, only May to October it looks.

  • Yeah, short seasons here in Maine, but we learn to enjoy them. We have a saying "If you don't like the weather, wait 20 minutes!".

  • what's with the snow appearing and dissapearing?? did you mix the pictures or is that what it's like over there, here in manitoba after the first snow fall in october/november, it stays there till march.

  • That was a warm winter, this year has been much colder and we have 12" on the ground already which ain't going away in a hurry.

  • beautiful yard

  • Thats a pretty cool vid, and a nice piece of property!

  • Might I suggest some paint!!!

  • Hey, those are cedar shingles they are designed to weather naturally!

  • LOL
