Hello Buddy, Great review and I have the same cassettes with the (Same QC problems) Sundor & the other Cobolt Bird's wings / legs both will not go flat in tape mode. You should check out the IGear or Gears of War Autoscout cassettes, worth getting if you don't pay too much. Here is a link to my review :

I love Kiss cassettes! Not the books...Just the toys, thank-you-very-much.

In my honest opinion, the cassette-formers are the most brilliant figures in the toyline, ever! They're so cute and compact and just scream, "Collect us! Collect us all now!", and we did, oh yes we did. They come in so many colors and shapes. How could you resist?

Do you have Flipsides? The one that came with the E-hobby Twincast reissue. She looks pretty cool. Hot pink with pink chromed weapons. Always wanted that one.

they're brilliant, you should also mention that they were designed (the colour schemes) by the respective actresses who played each character or something, i'm sure i read about that whilst researching a project

It's good that zipdisks "defending the indefensible" is right there in the suggestions. I'm not saying kiss players is a good concept, but the toys have a lot of merit.

@thecollector75 the cds are recordings of readings of the story. Like a radio show I believe. Its in japanese but there are a few translations on youtube. They are kind of disturbing...
