Just to clarify to those making the previous comments. In this video except for the takeoff and initial climbout and when the aircraft is taxiing up out of the water the nose gear is retracted as far up as it goes. The nose of the floats are held off for landing which puts the nosewheel when in the retracted position well clear of the water.
That was a most excellent video. I have watched it at least three times. The video work and the music were first rate. You need to start a new business. Oh, and your aircraft....WOW!! What can I say...
I have wanted a challenger since i was 12 years old... I am 28 now and not much closer to my goal, but one day with luck i will be in the air in my own crimson challenger 582. thanks for the great video :).
This is far the best video and some dam good flying I have seen on youtube. Wonderful job with the production, flying, and shots, you guys are the best.
Wow, Beautiful flying. I'm from Alaska, Living in NV learning to fly for when I get back home to Alaska. I knew I would gain many sights but that is amazing. I'm a dog mushing so I get to go almost any where I want in the winter. I'm limmited in the summer because of the swamps between Knit and Flat horn lake before the Big Sue reiver. The music suits the video perfectly. Well done!
This video is so amazing! It makes me feel proud that I will be in a challenger in a few years and will be able to embark on those adventures! Nice challenger, wich model is that?
There is something about this video that goes well beyond the realm of what you are watching on the screen. I've watched it now 9 times and each time it has a different effect on me. Both the pilot and the person shooting the video exceeded anyone's expectations surely. I've not flown now in over 10 years due to health problems but it is videos like this that renew the old flying spirit and makes you want to get up and head for the field with your heart pounding again.
Carlos Olson we definitly gotta buy one of these planes....... Love u dad. Hope you watch this xx

if that nose gear were to touch the water on initial landing would you likely flip?

@jmillski1
usually not but better to retract the gear!

Man i love the video, you guys did great im thinking of buying one of these. Did u buy this pre- built or did u put it together?
gresham777 1 year ago
@gresham777
The choice is yours - assemble the quick-build kit yourself (no special or skills or tools required) or have it done by a pro.-
