how long did it take you to get to that level of piano skills. I am currently 19 years old and LOOOOOVEEEE JAZZZZ piano. IT has become my life, is it to late to learn this beautiful skill?
Hi, I learned classical piano from 8 to 12, then I stopped completely. At 25, I tried the jazz piano for 2 years (1 or 2 hours per day). The results were disappointing ... At 50, I found a good teacher who revived my motivation ... If you are 19, it's not too late :-)
but you have to work a lot, be patient, have a lot of discipline, listening to many pianists and find your own way of playing.
You must have the feeling to play jazz... Good luck!
Thank you for answer. But where can i find that book. Or you have some links that i might check up. You can send me to over messages. I would be very thankfull. Thank you.

Wow that's really nice.
I have a question there:
Why don't you use the sound control function and the equalizer of the fp-7?
IMO the pure grand piano 1 sound is - although it sounds great - not very brilliant.

Thanx Thorgran2 :-)
There is a big difference between the sound of the fp7 (at home) and the sound on youtube... I don't like especially brilliant piano sound in fact.

Where did you learn or how do you know that harmonic connection?
predoje 2 years ago
Hi predoje,
it's based on the version of "new realbook 1" (p229).
The dominant chords are often played as 7sus4.
(Bb7 Bb9 = Bb7sus)
Some chromatic tips on E7.
the 2-5 are often played as 7sus4- 7b9
Dm7 - G7 = G7sus4 - G7b9
