Great video man! however i cant seem to get it to work without the sheep taking too much damage ... even the smallest fall possible in the minecart meant they only last about twice around

@MasterZang the way that minecarts work is that the minecart stores the data of how far it fell(even if there is nothing in it) so when the sheep get out they take all the fall damage that the minecart took. btw I think sethbling did a example and explanation in his video on a undetectable trap. I hope I helped. :)

Hahaha. This made me laugh so much. Just seeing the innocent sheep get taken to the top of the tower in minecarts is funny and they just sit in the minecarts :D

I love your vids and this is a cool way to breed animals and on the side where the babies go out u should make it a massive enclosed area with dispencers that shoot arrows and kill them all :)

@amiadush The only way to make tracks float is to use a sticky piston to pull the track on top of air. The track shouldn't pop off unless the blockspace is updated by something.

It is compact compared to the ones based off of rail systems, but the problem is the animal behavior of hoping out of carts when you log out and back in. I thought of putting blocks to keep them in place on the trapdoor, but it still wouldnt work because only a cart on a rail can pick up a mob. Good idea to keep it small though. Very unique.

ok tbh ... sheep farming i can see a bit of but after a bit just sheering them would be more effective ... however ... pigs and cows on the other hand! hello leather and pork farming.

@codylove3212 And then after you shear the sheep, what? You have a sheep with no wool.  In order to get more wool, you have to breed the sheep.

@genshouthedeliverer no no no .. like spawning them in mass numbers then just having like 100+ sheep ... the time you are done with em they will start just growing back ... oc i see the idea by all means just saying another approach could be to shear a large number to have them all grow back ... the automated part i get would be harder to do but i might put some research into it ...

Hey just to let you know.. If youll be using signs to make the mobs think its a block in the next project, try using trapdoors instead. I think they do pretty much the same, it costs less wood to make them and they are stackable.

looks really great:) i just had an idea: how about putting a pressureplate where the little sheeps come to life? a piston to push it in the canal system and another signal to send in the next couple. then all you need to do is to feed wheat
