I hated platformers but this this was a joy to play along with anotherworld & flashback too many pf for eg a well know italian fat bellied mustched....and another sqirrel game...these were all just poor repetitive dull unattractive and imo unchallenging gameplay this was one of the best exceptions

I think the reason that the first Playstation was such a success was that they followed the same rule that allowed Nintendo before them to be successful.

They created a recognisable cast of likeable kid-friendly characters.

Abe, Spyro, Crash.

Characters they could build franchises out of that people would keep coming back for.

They did the same for the PS2. With Jak, Daxter, Ratrchet and Clank.

Unfortunately, with the latter gone, I predict their success will dwindle in the years to come.

This is the best game ever and it's being played by an idiot. 0:06 - Humping the wall (EWWW.) 0:52 - Gay dance. 1:51 - Yeah... He's sleeping. I noticed. 2:02 - Thinking of humping the wall but the Mudokon might see. 2:08 - You only need to pull it once. 2:18 - Jumping on a metal floor makes a loud sound.
