Hey! If you can not donate your time and money to an animal shelter you can donate old towels, blankets, or pet beds that you may have laying around your house, also Animal Rescues and Veterinary Hospitals will take donations too. You can always call and ask if they would take a donation of that sort, or you can ask them if they have a list of things that they might need, so that you can see if there is anything on the list that you might have that you can donate. I hope this helps. :)

I love this message. People may not know this, but there are some shelters that have shelves of animals. They keep them there until they run out of animals to sell. Animals like hamsters or rats get Wet Tail, a serious sickness. They get serious diarrhea. Most of them die, too. Dogs and cats CAN get this, also. But, the good thing is, these are mostly kill-shelters. I'm not part of PETA, but I have seen a video of them killing the animal.. horrible. I am happy about no-kill shelters.

That's really cool that you guys support that. My 16th birthday just recently passed and instead of asking for gifts for myself i asked my guests to bring dog and cat food for the local animal shelter. The outcome was amazing, we donated 244 LBS. of dog and cat food and treats. Happy Holidays :)
