On your statistics question: I can't give you an answer to your original question right away but I can tell you the following:

If you studied not 6 but 7 q's out of that 10 the probability of 2 questions you studied being in any group of 5 out of 10 is 100%. Anyways you had bad luck as the probability of only 1 studied q' being in a group of 5 is quite low.

@gooselk I eventually figured it out. I was way overthinking it. I had a 15/16 chance of getting a doable combination of questions. My bad luck was a 1/16 shot.
