I think it's very ignorant to believe this is about the wind. It's rosicrucian the west wind a symbol of 'revolution' wind of change, aparent in many arts inc. Shakesphere (francis bacon) sonnets, Boticellie's Primavera & The Birth of Venus (zephyus) This poem is about Pagan REPRESSION by Christians & he's saying 'hear me' but no one is, they're just hearing the wind. It's rosicrucian. The yellow, black, pale & red are the people christianity is reaching. This is a valuable pagan secret writing.
Greetings SGG. You've done a wonderful job of bring this poem to life. I've always admired and enjoyed S.'s poetry. Now this one has not been the easiest to understand. I think I am just now beginning to understand it. And you are helping.
Grateful to see this. Have put this in a Romanticism playlist on my channel if you don't mind. Did you have an earlier version of this up previously? In any case, thank you.
Thank you Erika. I'm glad that this has a found a place in your playlist. An earlier version of the ode exists on this channel. However it is also an earlier reading.
Great!!!
