@consdel2000 << I read that Tier 5 is for everyone (an additional 20 weeks). However when it passes, you will not be paid retro active (as has been the case previously). Congress is to take up the issue in Sept and the monies will cover UI through 2011. So, hang in there the MONEY is coming!!

i am so sorry people. it aint going to happen. the rest of the world does not appreciate it but the U.S is a cold place. this would not be the first time that our country has shown an immoral lack of concern for its people to placate the petty and unrealistic concerns of the wealthy elite. i would say its time to stop being quiet humble and hopeful. this is it now or never its time to get out there get off your computer and go apeshit before we get anymore complicit and apathetic

15million unemployed ppl and all of us are going to get ALL 99 WEEKS that we are ENTITLED TOO!! After that we will take a stupid low pay job ... work it for 12 weeks and then get ANOTHER 99 WEEKS .... Life is GREAT!!! lol ... if you're over 62 yrs old and you are getting Social UN Security and Unemployment ... you are making 25,000 to $30,000 curiosity of the Red, White and Blue !!!

@mulletboater << Just go to your local TEMP Agency .. there are plenty of data entry jobs ... it works great if have accounting skills ... you can easily make $13 an hour. Work the job for 12 weeks and then draw 26 weeks (6 months) more of unemployment. Your UI is 80% of your gross hourly pay. Here in KY that's $400 a week PLUS $25 more free from the Feds. Trust Me life is great ... if you simply LEARN how to work the Govt System. The RICH guys do .. you ought to TOO.

if congress, U.S house, and the Senators can't help us then one can it's time too give the americans people help by granting more extensions I have exhausted all my benefits and I know what I'm going to do Leaders of the Country/Nation put yourself in my shoes and many other millions of Americans imagine not having money for the basic necessities food,gas,rent etc. I hope and pray for better days.

We need more weeks added to the unemployment extension. I have exhausted all my unemployment benefits. I have been looking for work on a weekly base and also signed-up at Workforce 1, but so far everything has been a dead end. It's hard to focus when there are bills to be paid and no kind of income coming in. I do not want go on welfare as a way out. I am very independed, but again it is discouraging and yet I sitll look for work and keep praying.

@pudding7167 << you need to sign up at more than just one TEMP agency. You will also have to call and pester them on a WEEKLY basis. If you still do not get an assignment you may need to pay them under the table. This is American you know .. you have to GREASE the palm at times in this country if you really want to get ahead. Learn how the game (of LIFE) is really played if you want to survive and get ahead.
