  • Couldn't take the trouble for translating this? I guess not. LAZY!

  • waiting for the samurai swords to come out

  • maybe its better if you will just discuss the legal right of each party not the racial criticism. we all know that each country have their dark and bright side...kindly share the legal side of their cases...thank you ////

  • As an American Japanese I'd have to say that I'd rather work for an American company than a Japanese company...I say this from my experience.

  • Hey Dan, you did nothing wrong. I remember when I saw you on the news. That crook was probably terrified of you because you because you were doing more than the unions. Termination of employment in Japan is illegal if they employer refuses to pay wages/salary.

  • Actually, I know I did nothing wrong...heck I'm not even in the video (someone needs to hold the camera and I'm not as videgenic as the deer in J-staff who kinda have that deer in the headlights look). The English prep school in the video just lost a lawsuit regarding unlawful termination of a union member (again, not me).

  • Which school is this?

  • NIC, which is/was affiliated with Lakeland College Japan (or vice versa). Both located in charming Shinjuku....actually, I like Shinjuku, so I don't mean that in a sarcastic way.

  • yooo dont back off dog!i m sick and tired of how companies in japan treat their employes.anyway why you got fired?

  • hey, who told yall to go work at Japan? I guess it's your own fault then, trying to go work over seas, seeking better opportunities

  • yuh i did, kid.u should give ppl career advice when u start build ur own career.

  • Well, Chingvang559, I guess we should send all the Japanese people back to Japan then, right? I mean who told them to come here, gosh darn it. Heck, maybe that will help solve the labor shortage problem Japan is experiencing right. Yes, why bother allow foreign workers in to fill the Japanese jobs they can't find Japanese workers for. Just pack em up and deport them! I'm sure that will solve their pesky problem.

  • I suppose the point is that despite many resources being devoted to teaching English to school kids in japan, they still don't seem to absorb it. So that's why they are in most cases very glad to have English speaking foreigners there to assist. I know many hard-working English teachers who are happy in their jobs...

  • Japanese students will never learn English until the teachers actually start teaching it. Writing Katakana above English words so the kids never learn proper pronunciation is ridiculous. I've seen a college student read a passage out of a book written as if it was written entirely in Katakana. The millions of yen Japan must be throwing away on English education every year...

  • He's that suck up in 'the office'

  • Haha the person with the glasses at 1.42 looks like a Japanese version of Dwight Schrute

  • who's Dwight Schrute? I'm kinda out of it and not in the mood to Google tonight.

  • Some Japanese people really seem like they got sticks up their butts. I love how the dude tried to scare the guy by offering to call the cops, and the guy was like "Yes, please do!". That's why there's no freakin way I'd ever live in Japan. Visiting is fine for me. America already has enough racism. I don't need to fly half way around the world to find more. America is better than Japan anyway in the long run.

  • OkashiiAmerican,

You seem to imply that no Americans seem to have sticks up their butts. Maybe it was that white guy who stuck it up there. Maybe the Japanese guy has just grown so tired of whites who come crying to him whenever something doesn't go their way. Yes, even before you watched this video.

  • I mentioned that America has racism, so I don't think that sounds like I put America in a perfect light. I would imagine you would have to have a stick up your butt to be racist.

  • >>OkashiiAmerican

You must have a pretty big stick up your butt since your comment, "America is better than Japan anyway in the long run" shows how racist you are against Japan.

  • America is worse than most countries. if theres a threat, their ideal way of dealing with things is to unexpectedly drop nuclear bombs on innocent people. hmm... I guess that mere 200 years worth of a country has got to them. Let me tell you this... America sucks! they have no regard for other countries, or they're own. America is more at war with themselves than they are with the rest of world.

    The long run my ass!

    Japan: Jōmon period (14000--400 BC)

    America: 1776 (232 years)

  • What's to deny? America does terrible things. Every country does. And does the world get along? No. Well, neither would America cause we got every race and culture living right next door to each other! So if America sucks that means the whole world sucks cause the whole world lives here. O, and for Japan's long history...didn't help it much when Matthew Perry showed up and pimped smacked the Shogun with his black ships back in the 1850s..just saying...

  • 外国人のみなさんへ。パチンコのチラシが張ってある企業に関わってはいけません。

  • the Japanese guy is a jerk! He fired an English teacher with no reason? hell no, because of Nova have to cut labor cost. thats it. but they need to explain those teachers first!!! what an jerk!

  • Actually, this school isn't NOVA. But, you are correct about cutting costs, the boss likes her trips to Europe and a driver for her new cars.

  • So...what are they saying?

  • takechanpoo (3 months ago)

    "hey gaijins,dont mind like this.

you are loser in your home country.

    you are loser in Japan,too.

    your paradise is nowhere"

    LOL "user has been suspended"!

What a fucking loser he is! ROFL

  • What?!?! Takechanpoo's account was suspended?! Saitei, he's the funniest hikkikomori on earth. Eulogy anyone?

  • For my part,i think that tourists on my country can go home!

  • Details plz

  • Why was he laid off?

  • He and several others joined a union to demand that the school do what is required by Japanese law: pay for 1) social security, 2)unemployment insurance, 3) health insurance, etc.

  • Did you guys win, please respond by mailing me a response, as it may be more convenient - thank you.

  • hey gaijins, dont mind like this.

you are loser in your home country.

    you are loser in Japan,too.

    your paradise is nowhere.

  • Omoshiroi. Work on the rhyme scheme a bit and you got something.

  • you real loser

  • Internet de kenka wo suru koto te shougaisha olympic de kyousou shiteiru mitai, yuushou shita to shitemo chieokure wa chieokure yo. dono ebento wa omae no otenomono?

  • Whatever you cry, loser is nothing but loser.

    relax.

  • if he wasn't getting those things, then why the fuck did he want to work there in the first place? everyone knows a legit gaijin life in japan aint easy, and japanese squares can be diiiiiiiiiiicks. if the deal is sour, find a better one.

  • That's one solution. The other one is to try to change the system. Maybe the latter is more difficult, but for some people it's worth it.

  • So?

This guy probably got fired from this language school 'cause he tried to get in a personal relation ship with his student, just like most others who gets fired.

  • No, simply because he wanted 1) social security, 2)unemployment insurance, 3) health insurance, and 4) an end to verbal threats from the management. Only things required by Japanese law that the school was not living up to.

  • どうしたの?詳細が知りたい。
