Last months ago when i was in Athens first time i saw Macedonian dances on TV,think it was TV5,the chanel from Thessaloniki!It was about a village party in Kastoria!on that party I saw dancers in slavonian style and very well known melody,I guessed,was-Ne si go prodavaj Koljo ciflikot,Koljo,don't sell your farm,something in this way

Ne si go prodavaj Koljo ciflikot i believe is the song Petranka Kostandinova made known to public.

Tempo of it is 9/8 and its known in turkish and greek as karsilama.

That one instrument (bazuka sound) overwhelms the entire song. Would be much better if that guy just toned it down abit.

Unfortunately that is the instrumentation style they prefare. Clarinet leads the rest supports. I agree with you it should have been a bit lower.
