This heli is not at all durable due to its cheap brittle plastic on the upper rotor shaft..i made a new piece from HPI plastic & it can now take some hits.. =)

but still very hard to control...if you want something easy to fly indoors with precision & good run time get a syma s107

@gazket Under the directional control there's two arrow buttons pointing left and right, press them accordingly (press right if it's spinning anti clockwise and vice-versa.

i bought one of these yday....i am having trouble adjusting teh trim...no matter how much i adjust it it keeps rotating even when i am just hovering 6ft above ground. The instructions say about screwing a screw on circuitboard somewhere but in very broken english...any ideas to help?

@benwlkn i had the same problem and fixed it by puttting full trim on when both the control and heli are powered on. Turn both off and return the trim to centre. turn both back on and readjust the trim until it stops. you might need to do this a few times to get it right.

@benwlkn After removing the canopy, you will found there’s something covered by wax, so what you have to do is scrape away the wax carefully. Then, adjust it with a small screwdriver, turn bit by bit per trial. Don’ t forget to mark down its original position before the turning it.

@Soomp1 antennas can go up to far distances preferably for rc planes but infra red is more powerful and most meant for indoors with no strong lighting i.e. the sun.

@checkplusauto Hey its quite simple even mine was doin da same. aftrwrds i realised that during takeoff if i press the forward stick slightly(as trimming didnt solve my problem) and then it took of nicely without moving in any direction.

I'm so disappointed with this helicopter. I was told it could move in all axis.. Maybe if the back rotor was powerful enough. It just tends to get caught in its own draft. The controls are not very responsive. I broke my helicopter within 10 minutes of use. I mainly put this down to a lack of control. $120 down the drain. Don't bother!

this is alright, I got mine from Red5 and it looks a bit different. The only problem with this thing is its extremely fragile, and has a tendancy to spin around; im still trying to master the hovering aspect

@yahzine20. flight time is between 10-13mins. if your landing and taking off all the time it will be alot shorter. 100mins charge time but be careful not to over charge the lipo. broke a tail rotor tonight but got 2 spare with my heli. seen spares on amazon which you should be able to get. i,m from uk so plenty of hobby shops. not sure about batteries[ lipo] spares. not had mine in bits yet.lol

I just received mine but there´s a strange problem with it.Whe I start to move UP/Down Control it does not respond precisely and start to rotate extremelly fast the engine and the helicopter goes up with any other control and suddenly stops and fall. I can´t control the rotation in any other velocity. Just in top speed. My helicopter stops in the hi wall. What can be wrong with it? I´m using Sony Rechargeble battery on remote control.

u need to adjust ur trim right hand side on ur remote with the left and right control and a small button on the bottom of it called the trim u need to hover the heli and adjust it kinda tricky but thats the only solution

the best way to learn how to fly buy a mini rc helicopter at brookstone and buy the insurance for 2 years around 4 to 5 bucks if u break it just return it back and get a new one with no questions ask and wen u get better just buy a medium size like the shark max and build ur skills 3 or 4 channels not much of a difference a gyro heli is a bit different soo start from a small heli i would recommend it to begginers just like me have fun guyz!

In a three channel, you have pitch (forward/backwards), yaw (turn left and right) and blade speed control (heightand speed). The fourth channel is usually an extra axis of pitch on the main rotor that allows you to move the heli sideways too. Very useful for precision landings.

It's not actualy I own one and they're very precise and the action is pretty snappy/instant. I'm very impressed with mine and got it for 39$. It's way better than my last one I owned that was made out of plastic (this one is metal) The plastic one was like the mosquito 3.0 and it's not even comparable, like night and day. really fun to fly for a cheap heli.
