Nice job man! I'm not really a guitar player so all this mixolydian and phrygian and relative major diatonic stuff doesn't really make sense to me, but it's just missing that feel. I'm by no means bashing you or demeaning you, you did a phenomenal job, I'm just pointing out that blues feeling is not quite there. But ya know, I don't play guitar...hahaha, nice job man :)

@qotsa007 Yes it's in C sharp minor. He flogs the minor pentatonic scale with great skill and only occasionally utilizes bits of the minor scale. I take it back that he uses anything else. Check out Jody Worrell or look into the mixolydian scale, major pentatonic scale. BB King is a mastor of alternating between the major and minor pentatonic scales....so is Chuck Berry, and is what I have really gotten into lately (see my Blues Solo In A video)

Jimmy Page used the mixolydian scale a lot.

Also, far better than my own videos of how to alternate between the major and minor pentatonic or major and minor blues and boogie woogie scales is this video ( Su playing Dame's Mind 700 ) it's a must see. It's in the key of A. The song starts with the (minor) blues scale and after 8 notes she's playing a minor scale for 8 notes and then plays a mixodydian scale for 6 notes and then goes into a major ?

Great,great TONE James, you know this reminds of "Eric Gale" who used to play in the band 'Stuff" (Richard-T on fender Rhodes) though he played with a cleaner sound (no distortion) he was incredible Bluesy.
