Here's an interesting little side-bar: The actor who plays Fields' "best-man" was a popular actor of the 30's named Kent Taylor. He has since become immortalized as the one-half namesake for "Clark Kent" (The other- half was for Clark Gable). Evelyn Venable, the young- maid of honor w/ Zasu, became later-on a Prof. (I think, ancient History) at UCLA. Drat those owls! R.J.
