I got in touch with Dan Peek about a month ago, I have loved America ever since "a horse with no name" but I hadn't realised they knew John Martin.Dan was kind enough and magnanimous to reply and take the time to explain how it all came about.I don't want to presume but I guess he was very unwell at this time.All the more respect for a great guy who improoved the quality of my life countless times. R.I.P my special soul mate.

the second time they visited Lima in 2004 they played some great rendition of Cornwall Blank" with guess appearance of Cristopher Cross singin' the Peek's Dont cross the river later on that concert.

Many thanks for this, a great take on John Martyn's gem. The original is fantastic with Danny Thomson's jazzy bass work and Martyn's inspiring vocals (the album Bless the weather is of similarly high quality).
