i am not christian or a jew. however, i am religious. i believe in god. my religion encourages you to have your own views, whatever they may be and to find the answer yourself. in life you can change your religion at any time. its not a fixed thing like gender. however, believing in god does not automatically give you the green card to enter heaven. as long as your intentions are clean, are sturdier than a iron sledge hammer, it's ok. there is always a choice.

In one case, Jesus spoke of a "rich man" who died and went to hell and was being tormented in flames and begged someone to go back from the dead to warn his 5 brothers....you can read about the entire story in LUKE 16:19-31

I was raised in a upper middle class home, bathtised as a Protestant to a Norweigan mother and Irish father. I was told and taught my whole life to believe in the Lord - to accept Jesus Christ in my heart. After 26 near 27 years of following my religion, all I have gained from it is mental conditions, such as Bi-Polar, OCD, manic depression. @richardpweiss If Hell exists I wouldn't be sure it's anything like depicted in the Bible. Remembering that in Christian religions, God is the only one who ever says anything about hell. Never Satan himself, in fact it seems his only crime was rising to power and trying to overthrow a vengeful God. This God claims hell is full of hell fire and torture. But you'd think Satan would have gloated a little about his eternal torture chamber, if it was full of fire and torture.

I have faith that Heaven, Hell, Satan and Jesus are real! That's what all Christians have. We have no way of proving it straight up. But any non believer is going to Hell. @Ragedhard hell exists because God's Word says so. Actually, Jesus spoke more about hell than anyone else in the Bible. In one case, Jesus spoke of a "rich man" who died and went to hell and was being tormented in flames and begged someone to go back from the dead to warn his 5 brothers....you can read about the entire story in LUKE 16:19-31
The name "Jesus" means "Savior" and He came to save us from going to hell because He loves us. You must be "born again"--Jesus is the ONLY Way!

Here is a question for you and i would like a response on this. Do you believe in good/evil? Assuming you believe in good/evil how do you differenciate between the two? In order to contrast the two you must believe in a moral law.Now if you believe in good/evil you believe in a moral law but we can't have a moral law without someone to have given it and seeing how moral law is constant and unanimous no mortal man could have imposed it which must therefore mean there is a higher power out there.

Ooh, what's even better about Hell, it's basically just the underworld. Rather, Heaven is supposed to be a place where you just sorta... bask. Cuz, y'know, you're with God and all that. So Hell is just the lack of being able to bask in God.
