Ich benuzte den Miswak in Form eines Zweiges und bin zufrieden. Jedoch muss ich sagen, dass es neben der Vermeidung von Chemekalien auch aufgrund von religiösen Gründe es benutze. Es gab mal einen Beitrag bei Galileo, den fand ich ganz interessant.

@Urgeschmack Der Prophet muhammad(s.a.v.s) hat das 1400 Jahren benutzt und Muslime die sich mit ihrer Religion beschäftigen benutzen das auch.

denkst du tatsächlich dass die wirkstoffe in dem zweig nur zufällig da drin sind? Der Prophet Muhammed (saw) hat es geliebt sich mit dem Miswak zu pflegen

@akoking Ganz ehrlich? Weil ich noch keinen in die Finger bekommen habe. Wäre schon interessant zu wissen, aber auf das Thema bin ich im Moment nicht neugierig genug.

@Qemum OK: Basically, it is unnecessary to brush your teeth 3x a day with a pound of toothpaste. Toothpaste is, unnecessary, the important part is the mechanical act of brushing. Looking around, I learned about the Miswak, a tree/twik that's been used by traditional people all aorund the world. Incidentally it contains all the important components for tooth health. While the Miswak might seem a little cumbersome, the SWAK brush uses a brush head on top of a (ecologically manufactured) handle...

@Qemum ... it makes brushing rather easy. The mouth feel is excellent, very comfortable and much cleaner than conventional/synthetic brushes. Still, to me the head seems to be a little on the small side, it takes too much time for me. Good: Since you don't even need water for this brush (your own saliva is enough), you don't need a bathroom, you can use this brush everywhere (TV etc). The head costs ~3€ and lasts for 6-8 weeks. Conclusion: The SWAK is A great approach but it needs improvement.

Verstehe, also darf man den Kopf nach Gebrauch mit Wasser spülen. Denn die Zähne sind ja nicht immer sauber wenn man sie putzt.... (Beispiel Nutella)

@FriGid0 Wenn du sowas isst, würde ich VOR dem Putzen ordentlich mit Wasser durchspülen. Der Bürstenkopf verträgt zwar auch Wasser (klar), aber wenn du das Gröbste vorher entfernst, ist es natürlich einfacher.

@FriGid0 Nein, der Kopf so einer Bürste hält angeblich 3 Monate. Ich nutze sie jetzt einen Monat und denke, dass das hinkommt. Der Kopf selbst ist einfach austauschbar.
