@TheHariputtar Not my plane, mine cost about 100US, the one that the guys flew in the fog and never saw it again was $6000 LOL............. Look up Canterbury Sailplanes in NZ, theyre GREAT ;-)

Thats cool, but it is obvious even from this footage that the pterodactyl makes it a bit too front heavy. Whats it made out of?

Its just made of foam, the long neck was acting like a rudder on the nose twisting the plane too much....... so after it was shortened the flying became much more stable. sadly my cat pissed on this plane and the smell never would wash off so i got rid of it ;-/

I'm in the exact same position, I've got a delta wing and motorbike, and I've been scratching my head over how the two could work in my favour.

Have you come up with anything yet?

lol, the 2 of us stuck on this eh......... the best i can figure out is to attach the wing with bungee cords to the saddlebag, and to the seat also. I'm getting my bags and bag guards in a few weeks, then i'll be able to really figure this out. The only other option would be to buy a scooter lol .....

I live by the sea, so i get alot of elec problems too..... thats why i like gliders, less to get salty and die on me mid flight ;-)

I'd like a gas powered RC Plane but I have nowhere to use a gas powered one and its expensive to get into the gas powered planes... all the stuff you need for them is crazy!

I never tried gas, im to poor for that, i like life simple, so i try to fly simple planes, like my bike, simple cheap and old, but i love 'em ;-) My Mrs is calling me, i gotta go to bed dude, it's 6am here :-(

my mom knew someone who had a gas powered plane and he let me try it with a trainer remote (two remotes connected together so if there was any problem he'd be able to switch wich remote has the control)

Thanks, im surprised you watched it all, i didnt think anyone would!! As you see on my channel i have a video for every plane i ever built / flew, i was converting them from VHS, but when it came to do this last video i got a new job so never finished it. 2 years later FINALLY i can throw all those VHS tapes away ;-) ;-) ;-) See ya about mate ;-)

Fabulous! This is really wonderful stuff. Why do you say "back in the days when things were alwaus more fun" - Aren't you allowed to do this now? My husband used to make model planes and fly them when we lived in Corsica but a crash could be nasty - wondeful fun. This red devil looks indestructable though. Is that you launching it?

Hya Suzy, crashes used to be awful, days of repairing, not anymore ;-) .... I havnt flown my rc planes for a couple of years due to work, today i dusted the old wing off, in few weeks when the sun returns i'll get flying again ;-) And now i have my bike, so getting to the mountain top's just got alot faster!! Things are looking up again ;-) ....

"back in the days when things were always more fun" just seems to be true, i dunno, guess i was just down that day regarding unemployment ;-) ;-) ;-)
