lol, why would she go to the NBHA open worlds, if she can't ride to save her life. i find it funnny, poor parents wasted there money; i went to the nbha open world last year and it was a hardcore expensive entree fee, i won it back, but still.. if you can't ride, start at smaller shows.
@Wildxxhorses I can ride just fine and had rode great up until this point. My parents did not waste there money because I actually made money back plus some. I have attended the Open World every year since then and have been a finalist more times than I can remember. Also, I believe the whole reason I made it to the National Finals (which it was called then) because I had qualifed at the smaller shows. You shouldn't comment on things that you don't know about.
I see there is a lot of people making rude & ugly comments. I would have defended her earlier but never came across this video. The girl is in fact me! I am a very good rider & if anyone had been there, they would know why I fell off. Prior to the race, NBHA had us waiting for 2 hrs while doing an act. By the time I ran my legs were jelly, I fell @ the 2nd b/c no on put my feet back into the stirrups. This was very embarressing for me bc I was 9 and my first finals. So, give it a break.

Really? I didn't know you knew me or the people that I am associated with. Hmmm... maybe you don't know what you are referring too. No one has ever lost respect for me and actually I have made it to finals consistently ever since that run. I have had nothing but support from the people who are around me that ride horses. I don't know who you are or why you would say such a thing when you don't even know me. How could a 9 yr old do this for attention? Grow up!

wow she really needs to learn how to hold on with her legs. ive lost a stirrup going around a turn like that and i lost one while doing pole bending, but as long you have a good seat and have a firm grip with your legs you shouldnt fall like that.
that's actually happened to me...except i wasn't going around a barrel...i was using a really bad saddle and my horse just jumped and turned outta the blue...and i ended up on the side..it was the saddle's fault though...it was a really worn in slick seat that needed to be re-done...but i have a new saddle and its great.
No offense, but I'm a beginner barrel racer, and I can stay on if my horse takes a turn (which is what there supposed to do!),I mean she just keeps falling off, and nothings happening! Her horse is turning just fine! She just needs to learn to well...stay on!
i kinda agree, but if she made it to the NBHA final, dont you think that she has been able to stay on. something must have happened that caused her to fall besides just being a bad rider
What the hell...That little girl needs to go get some horsemanship lessons before running a pattern. That was one nice horse tho...not many will be that calm.
