My modest opinion: Peppino is brilliant and has his own style, which is beyond the concept of "being better than.." simply because he has found the courage to be himself.

I met him in person and also seems to be humble, deep.

If you like Peppino, you'll also enjoy Phil Keaggy. Peppino is a great fingerstylist that Seagull puts out nice one. I have the cheaper version of his guitar- it's probably the best value in an acoustic today
