Well, you've got some OK effects there, but you might want to:

Image > Apply image > Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen Then delete the background

Image > Apply image > Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur > 1.5 px delete the render and around it

That way the render pops out more :P

And maybe add a g map b/w on multiply and erase everything but the edges instead of using the pen tool

P.S. - I found a waaaaaay easier and better way to make borders. Just select the whole thing with the rectangular marquee tool, then go to edit>stroke. Choose your color and thickness, and there's your border. Just found that today, while making my first sig.
