@blamclep umm why put a 2jz motor is a s14? and not go with oh i dont know...a RB26 engine? Im not the good on cars but I know some stuff. Is it cheaper, more reliable, eassyier to mod?????
Last dyno session that's video taped was around 700 but that clutch slipped at that hp. Since then it's recieved a 6sp trams,. Triple disk clutch and e85 conversion 1066hp. Right now it's getting a stroker, bigger turbo and nitrouse hoping for 1200.
It doesn't take a stroker kit to achieve 1000hp. Obviously. Just head studs. E85 and some good tuning. Not gonna debate or argue. 2jz can achieve the numbers with stock internals. How long it'll last is another thing. But it can and has been done long before us. When it comes apart then it'll get a stroker.
Yeah can't really name any other engine that from the factory can take 1000hp without internal mods. ----1066hp ;) E85 29lbs boost. Do that with a sr motor. Don't get me wrong sr engines aren't crap. Just can't achieve the numbers that a 2j can without putting money unto the engine also.
@blamclep the chevy ls motors can do that on stock internals with alot of tuning hot rod had the 4.8l truck motor at 800 sumthing hp and the only thing they did was replace the head gaskets cause they wanted to see the shape the pistons and walls where in i belive they stopped because they needed a better fuel system then they put on if your interested ill see if i cant find the artical and let you know when issue it is but the 2j, supercharged cobra motor and ls motor is only ones i know of
