  • I didn't know that ranchers are greedy bastards. I thought they are probably some of the hardest working Americans that don't earn millions of dollars.

  • you are a bunch of shallow kids, who have NO facts or figures. Who hired you to publish these ridiculous figures? Fact is that elk hunters take thousands of times as many elk as wolves and the wolves deserve them more. Another fact is that the ranchers are just a greedy bunch of bastards who want to turn parks into pastures, wilderness reserves into, private, commercial hunting preserves, and wilderness into dollars.

  • You need to revisit your Elk numbers , you left out the "Interior Herd" and the S Herd .....you left out 35,000 Elk !

  • Whoa, look how cool those youngsters are when they're talking about wolves! I guess it's about time for another anti-predator propaganda film to come out. I wonder how much of the scientific literature was used in compiling those 'facts'... Oh wait, fans of this movie don't trust scientists - they only trust the bible!

  • @tbizzone101 100% agree

  • @tbizzone101 so introducing a predator to the states, which has enhances fish populations, shrub and tree growth along streams as well as other aquatic life is better than having a healthy elk herd? If you examine the lies of feds and DOW, why couldn't they keep their promises with the original breeding pairs. Even if you are anti hunting, and pro wolf, what the agenda has pushed is not right. There is science, and it is divided in opinion.

  • @operationNOBO If you could use proper grammar your comment might make more sense. From what I can translate: yes, the recolonization of wolves in the western states has correlated with ecological benefits, including a healthy elk herd. In the absence of wolves, the elk population grew to densities unsustainable for the ecosystem, which why humans had to begin establishing feedlots.

  • @tbizzone101 I'm sorry there Bizzone, forgive me that I used improper grammar. First, explain your feedlot statement. Secondly, I find it funny because these biologists claim that wolves don't have enough of an impact to enhance the growth of young aspen trees. Which protect the fish and tweety birds. I say this, because it's the argument pro wolf people use. I'm really sorry I offended you with one mispelled word, hyphens, and run on sentences.

  • @operationNOBO - I still don't understand your point. Which biologists are claiming the statement you made about aspen growth? It helps if you identify your subject. "Which protect fish and tweety birds" - are you asking a question? I don't mind discussing the topic of wolf management, but it'd be nice if you would compose your statements at a post-5th grade English writing level. My feedlot statement was in reference to the supplemental food G&F gives abnormally large elk herds.

  • @tbizzone101 That is the whole point, reducing one species to promote other aspects of the ecosystem. It is a completely absurd view. The studies do not agree that wolves will have a lasting effect on aspens. In recent studies YNP wolves have shown that sine elk numbers are reducing, wolves are killing each other in competition for them. The ecosystem theory is an absolute scapegoat for pro wolf groups. I think you meant F&G feeding elk during winters to stabalize their numbers.

  • @operationNOBO - I'm sorry you have such a hard time with writing. This conversation would be more fruitful if you could reasonably articulate your point. I hope you really don't believe that basic ecology is nothing more than a scapegoat. If that is true, then I'd hope you pick up a book or two on the subject. Also, it might benefit your argument to cite these "studies" you keep referencing. It's obvious the propagandists who made this 'Crying Wolf' movie have stifled your ability to reason.

  • @tbizzone10 thank u fer your rebutttle, you ha ve totalliie changed mah opinion about propagandanists.

  • @operationNOBO - Aren't you late for an NRA meeting or something? Don't forget your meds!

  • @tbizzone101 I wish you good luck on next seasons wolf hunt.

  • @tbizzone101 The smug comments you make achieve very little.

  • @ruji1970 Most of which from blinds.

I just hope you know the methods used in trapping. You know, bear traps, that break the animal's leg until it eather dies of hunger, bleeds to death, or the hunter finaly finds it. Then there's snares, that sufficate the creature without damaging the pelt.

Not to mention that these don't always kill what they are supose to. I've read five reports of wolf traps killing dogs and cats. (I hope PETA reads this, lol)

  • @rujo1970 I dought they will. Ohio attemptered to get rid of all their wolves, not only did that not work, but they only slowled, not stoppped the population growth. Wolves are highly intellegent and very shy of anything that dosent smell formilliar, and considerering that they can smell anything up to three miles away, the chances of anyone killing a wolf on foot is nearly impossible. Thats why the hunters that set their sights on wolves do so from baited blinds.

  • @AKArainkit Well there have been almost 200 wolves killed in the rifle season between Idaho and Montana so i'd say it's far from nearly impossible.

  • I am not agenst wolf managment. The way our conservation works, there is no way the wolf will survive without us having to have one, but, there are a few flaws. I read Idaho's plan, and I think it's actuly pritty good, but I don't like them aloughing fur traping. I don't like that at all.

  • @AKArainkit Well too bad, the trapping season is open and every trapping class Idaho Fish and Game has put on has been filled to capacity. I hope Idaho meets it's goal of wolf depopulation. I think their goal is to go from 1800 wolves to 300. Happy hunting boys.

  • @AKArainkit The only reason Idaho is having a trapping season is to rapidly reduce the wolf population back to the original recovery goal. When we get there I seriously doubt there will be any more trapping.

  • I just finished watching it. Easily one of the greatest documentary of our time.

  • I love it... another video that distorts facts to make a point. Before you go rambling about the amount of elk lost, why don't you summarize the serious elk overpopulation problem before the re-introduction of the wolf packs and the imbalance of the ecosystem as a result. Or issues caused by over-damning by the beaver population. Why don't you go into how the wolf packs have put things back into balance improving the ecosystem as a whole, not just the animal population numbers.

  • @petergrenader What facts have been distorted? The ones you are claiming about elk overpopulation and wolves bringing balance, those are the lies. You don't live here, you don't see the reality of what the wolves are doing to our cattle, ungulates, livelyhoods and our states economy. All you know is to regurgitate the lies spewed by Defenders of Wildlife. More like Pretenders of Wildlife.

  • @ruj1970 or "defenders of wolves", they really need to help focus on other, true endagerd animals. but because the wolf had the old "big bad wolf" attached to it, it is like a victemized minority. wolves are slowly being turned into what may be called a "noble savage"

  • @kuwaizair These people don't care about truely endangered animals. They are hooked on emotion over what they percieve to be a cute cuddly little dog and they read somewhere that they are going extinct so they need to save them when that can't be farther from the truth. I'm grateful congress delisted them in the Rockies so we can finally get them under control.

  • @ruj1970 the ones in the rockies, were they the true rocky moutain wolf? or the Canadian import?

  • @kuwaizair Canadian imports It sickens me how none of the wolfaboos care one bit about the devastation to our livestock, ungulates, hunting and our states economy. All they care about is the wolf. Well we are killing them like cockroaches now thanks to the delisting. It's about time.

  • Anyone experiencing serious predator animal damage control problems may contact me for for complimentary assistance (as my schedule and travel plans allow) providing you are willing to sign a form granting access/hunting permission. Email me at adcdrt@yahoo dot com

  • Even though I love wolves, you got some very interesting facts! :)

  • @Securitron343 : Please understand that these 'facts' are casting a highly effected picture of the reality of the situation. Please see my note which touches upon the serious eco problems Yellowstone was experiencing before reintroduction of the wolf lacks and how they have put things back into order

  • the true wolf lovers say they should still be listed as endangerd. "the population is not stable enough, people are greedy, they want the elk for themself"

"it is political that the wolf is delisted, the wolf is still almost extinct"

    do you have some link

  • @kuwaizair Almost extinct? Are you completely retarded? There are hundreds of thousands of wolves worldwide. Please tell me how that equates to almost extinct? Good God you wolf lovers have a collective IQ of 80.

  • @ruj1970 oh I know, there are people, we call them "wolfaboos", they say things like "wolves are almost extinct, we need to save them" and "wolves are kind loving animals with families" and "the wolf is a strong brave noble animal. it can win a fight between a lion/tiger/hyena"

YT dosen't allow url's in comments. just go to deviantart and look for "wolfaboo" dozens of yummy screen captures.

  • @kuwaizair Your average wolfaboo is of very low intelligence. They will believe what ever Defenders of Wildlife says. It's pathetic.

  • Finaly some true facts about wolves... People do the math... a wolf has on average 3-5 cubs.. Deer, elk, or moose on average 1.. So these wolves do need to eat, and they do.. Wolves like all predators, run these heards and pick the slowest to kill. NOT the sickest.. I do think they are a beautiful animal, but we humans have out populated the earth and need places to live.. Unfortunetly the weaker die..before you through your 2 cent comments out for the world.. Go out a see what they can do.

  • A dog... I guess Wolves have more brain than you guys... how much you get payed for doing this vid?

  • Woah... COOL!

  • More like a look at what inbreeds have cost the Yellowstone ecosystem.

  • Just because their number is higher than the original plan doesn't mean they are overpopulated.

  • @nthomas0023 You should look up the overpopulation of the wolf world wide. Not just the USA or Yellowstone.

  • Balance....HA,HA,HA!! These Canadian Grays are sport killing and leaving the meat NEVER to return! It's a complete myth that they only take weak or sick animals, they take ALL!! The pro-wolfies don't live anywhere close to any, so they have no idea what's going on around here!! The truth is coming out and they don't like it! It's Wyoming Game and Fish's job to manage our wildlife, not a dog!!

  • @WyomingLeadCow

I ll also tell you the truth and you won't like it. The exact species of wolf introduced actually does belong despite what people say. Remains of the exact species have been found all of the US many dating back 50,000 years +..

The problem is with humans not the wolves, if there was no human activity the area to begin with, then nothing would be wrong in the first place. Humans have already wiped out most of the biodiversity in the US anyway.

  • @Swiftab1e Wrong! The wolf that was here UNTIL, yes they were here, the Canadians were introduced, was the Canis Lupus Irremotis (Rocky Mountain Wolf)! I know some are trying to eliminate the sub species category for the lie to continue that the Canadian Grey is indigenous, not going to work! Yes, people have ruined everything they can and will continue to! Wolves needs to MANAGED like everything else or it will eat itself out of house and home! I've seen the damage first hand, have you? NOT!

  • I would like to make the point that wolves keep a balance, singling out unhealthy elk or any other animal and in Yellow Stone National park, if they have a issue as the one your stating, let them handle it. and quite frankly weather the Wolf should live or die is ENTIRELY not up to you or hunters. you violate their rights to live and think your right in doing so. what if they decided to do the same to you?

  • this video is garbage. with the agenda so transparent, it's odd that you attempt to take such a scientific approach...stating data and numbers means nothing if you have already come to a conclusion.

  • Cattle grazing is the elks biggest enemy I kid you not. In Idaho 65% of the land is used for grazing. Why not give half of that public grazing land to elk. 58% of the national forest in Idaho are also grazed. Why not 100% for the elk? Total percent of cattle industry earnings from these rocky mountain states compared to the whole United States. Idaho total cattle production is 2.24% of the total US earnings of cattle production. Utah only 0.91%. Wyoming 1.81% Montana 2.34%.

  • @PsychiatryExposed

"The action of bringing about a pro-Scientology government consists of making a friend of the most highly placed government person one can reach, even placing Scientologists in domestic and clerical posts close to him and seeing to it that Scientology resolves his troubles and case."

(Hubbard, "Department of Official Affairs", HCO Policy Letter of 13 March 1961)

  • Destroying wildlife? That is a familiar saying from hunters. I wonder if these individuals on the video hunt?

  • What an absolute garbage video. What these individuals say in the video have MANY flauds in them.

  • Elk Population Idaho: 115,000

Cattle Population Idaho: 1,950,000 Hmmmmmmmmmm......I thought I read that Elk feed on the same things as cattle. Well...... I wonder if the ranchers will generously give some that land to the elk to give them more more room. Even if there were no wolves.

I read also that the land used by livestock grazing totals the same area as Texas and California combined.

You guys cry wolf I cry cattle.

  • @PsychiatryExposed

I wanted to add that the land area used for livestock grazing in the American West is the same size as Texas and California combined......too many cattle folks. Not enough elk.....not enough wolves.

Too many cattle in the western half of our country.

  • @PsychiatryExposed Do you eat steak? How about hamburgers? I'll bet you do so why don't you shut your hypocritical mouth. The wolves need to be managed and that is exactly what we are doing.

  • I agree with you jsharpe, what we are seeing is healthy numbers back into the park, it's a know fact that wolves do not need to roam far to hunt which aslos means man as taken away alot of the wolves and other animal natural resources. If you want to make a video you need to get your fact right first not do half a job on it. Theres plenty of facts out there which would balance the story up the right way. Wolves have a very low kill rate so what your saying in the video is that wolve dont sleep.

  • looking forward to the movie! Christians need to lead the way in proper ecosystem management.

  • what a ridiculous movie. I just can't believe how stupid people can be. simply incredible.

  • I think it's silly of you to compare numbers pre- vs. post-wolves. What you're seeing in Yellowstone today are normal, healthy numbers. Numbers from a time before wolves were reintroduced represented a bizarre, non-natural situation--ungulates evolved in an environment full of predators, not devoid of them. Additionally, elk numbers are far too high because of winter hay. Most of America wants functional ecosystems, not parks managed exclusively for your favorite animal to kill.

  • Hey Konalomon, thanks for your comment. You bring up a good point. Since hunting is not allowed in the Park, let a few wolves in there to keep the elk numbers down. But the key words there are "few" and "in the Park." The film will address this issue further.

  • Although you make some good arguing points, I hope you consider other aspects in this debate that include the entire ecosystem. Elk herds in Yellowstone cannot be sustained at high populations, there is only so much food for them, without a population control they will deplete forage in the park to where they cannot sustain they're own population. It's not like the wolves are just going to take over everything and win, eventually they will starve to death and continue that balance .

  • Still doesn't explain the fact that wolves have been fine carbon dated in yellowstone to 50,000 years plus in the area. Wolves have also been fine and so have all the other animals until whites came to the area. Tens of thousands of years before there was never a problem until humans came.

  • Great job, outstanding!

  • Nice!

    Great work and well spoken.

    5* and fav'd.

  • They are going to try and ignore you first. The anti hate the truth.

  • Great video.

  • Well spoken!!! You outstanding young people keep up the good work. There are probably some ignorant anti human idiots that are going to flood your site now with their absolute stupidity. Keep up the good fight.

  • I have been trying to put together a message like this. I think I'll give up, and promote your video. When is the release date? Where can we purchase it? I will buy 10 today!

Something needs to happen today. I fear our elk herds will not make it too much longer. I have said it a thousand times, their agenda is to get us out of the woods, and take away our private property.

  • Bravo!!!!!!Amen Amen Amen!!!!!!

Great video brother!!!!Keep up the great work!!!!! 5*s

  • Great Job guys!!! Thats the way to get the truth out there!! 5 star and fav! Thanks for sending this Rock, these guys did a great job!
