@N1cholas240 All Hellfire variants (both I and II) use "top-attack"; it's part of lofted PN trajectory for both LOBL & LOAL modes. Whether or not it's true 'top attack' obviously depends on the loft angle after launch, which varies on seeker acquisition distance from launch.

Major difference between Hellfire I and II is digital auto-pilot and new IMU for inertial navigation; it slaves guidance to INS so missile points to the last spotted laser position when illumination is lost.
