@DrSylva22, yes, I think it's a shame Israel hasn't recognized Armenian genocide. It's a shame almost no one has recognized Armenian genocide.
Israel, like others, tried to maintain best possible relations with Turkey. Now that this is proving impossible, that Turkish government is increasingly milking every goodwill gesture from Israel to make Israelis pay for it, that Iran has become Turkey's best friend, the possibility of recognizing Armenian genocide looks better and better.
When Turkey oversteps the last red line and Israelis lose all hope for it, then the recognition of Armenian genocide will be approved. The sad thing is that it takes a very long time for Jews to lose hope. We are hopelessly hopefull people - we wouldn't have survived otherwise. Just like Armenians, no?
@Kurtlane - I agree. And as a Jewish, and Israeli - I am ashamed at my country (Israel) that does not recognize the Armenian genocide. Israel should have recognized the Armenian Holocaust, together with the USA, long time ago.
Turkey has such nerves to commit a murder of 1.5 million Armenian civilians, and later on not to recognize it, not to take responsibilty and even to threat other countries who recognize this historical event to disconnect ties !!! Simply disgrace

Who said and defined Armenian Genocide were both defined Jewish:
Ambassador Henry Morgenthau Sr., (1856-1946), who said Turkey is
"A Place of Horror " in his book " The Murder of a Nation "...
also Our people will never forget such massacres...
and Lawyer Rafael Lemkin ( 19000 1959) who defined the word genocide...because of the Armenian case...
I can't understand why Israel can't recognize Armenian Genocide...That means they don't recognize their honest , clever, dedicated gifted people.
