Ahh....The debonair engine has 340ish nm of torque...the VR4 had over 400nm so not sure where you get your whacky figures from.

Also the 6G74 DOHC MIVEC was ONLY, I repeat, ONLY available in a special limited edition run of Ralliart Pajeros. No other car got this engine. Diamante's did get a DOHC MIVEC but it was a 6g72 as found in the Diamante 30M.

Redline is 7300 cause it's still running the 3L ECU. If you've seen a debonair tacho, it's redline is 6200RPM ;)

It's in Australian magnas(U.S. diamante) and pajeros. 263hp DOHC 6G74 MIVEC engine, mivec is the equivalent to Honda vtec, BMW vanos(I think), vvt-i Toyota, d-tec daewoo, fords ti vct.....

I had done this swap around august. wondering if you have high idling issues like I do? idles at around 2

@honduran718 where are you located at?

and mine usually idles around 1100 and at the most 1500 but when it gets warm it goes to about 900 or 800.

but sometimes I have issues where the idle goes up and down. Like were it acts like its about to die then regains life lol and revs to 2000 then goes back to idle. You may be running rich. you could have a vacuum leak. but first tighten the little screw on the throttle body. Check to see if you need more coolant and see if theres air bubbles in it to

@MrJordanowski yes. exact same. it mostly idles @ 1500. double checked after writting. but the bouncing of the needle and sometimes idling at 900 is pretty much dead on. I had the screw tightened before, worked, then went back to the same thing. I have 275 injectors, instead of the stock 240. but it was acting up before i changed them. vacuum leak could be the problem

@grantyclark ive been guessing about 280 at the crank, but it pulls pretty damn hard. I wanna do a dyno run but its very expensive here

exaust wires plugs intake modded computer the last owner had it turboed so whatever else he did LOL
