keep in mind whoever is wanting to get one, the tranny is chunky. You have to be forcefull and precise to speed shift. Although you are able to pull of flat shifts with it. THat is nice. Cheap power though.

every test driver, and me personally agree that the transmission is much much better than the GTI and WRX which are in the same class as the ms3. I can't expect to pay $25k for a car and have it drive like an $80k car, but it sure feels like a $40k car when I drive it. I would say that is pretty good.

I heared these were selling for like 3k over sticker? is this true? Might sound funny but even 3k over sticker in my opinion wouldn't be a bad deal..However, 28k might get you into something pretty nice as well.

Most dealers have a $5k markup on them, but I was able to get mine for $1k under MSRP, and no markup.

It's an amazing ride, and the torquesteer under heavy acceleration really isn't a problem.

I test drove both a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 and a new 2008 WRX 5-door back to back. The Mazdaspeed had more sensation of speed, but the WRX was more comfortable and roomier. I bought the WRX.

i just test drove a speed 3, it is very nice, It swayed me over the cobalt SS. The 15 psi of boost makes it feel faster than it really is, but i like that. Im not out to race, I just want my car to feel fast!!

I thought the same thing. Its a bit more of a solid car though. It also turns ALOT better. It won't make as good of a straight line car. At least now they affordable car market has some choices in what kind of racing it wants. I personally like this car better than the SRT-4 but I can't afford it. I'm getting a used SRT and I'll be perfectly fine.

ofcourse you beat a wrx, it has about 33 hp more and lots more of torque. It'ls a lighter car and it's a fwd which good on acceleration. Put a cold air intake and a cat back and you'll be able to beat a stock evo or sti.
