The CASE does not have the commercial looks.... Its very important to market the product... but the features inside looks cool... just the out side looks plain and sorry to say, horrible.... Zalman full enclosed case looks much prettier.... also with feature...
LIAN LI really need to work on their case design... by the way, if market it to european or foreign country... try to use better naming... example, toyota as LEXUS... Honda as ACCURA... The name on the casing "LIAN LI" ... hmmm...
this case is for extreme pros...anyone who buys this case and puts in a mini ITX board with a 120Watt powersupply and runs a 17 inch monitor is a complete fool. Thats something what i would do tbh.
Man, I want this. I so want it. It's over $600 in my country tho. I've always skimped on the casing in the past, so maybe it's time to dump that big load of cash on an excellent case for once. I don't care if I have to use a crane to move it, as long as it's top quality. :D
it is top quality . i love this case . i am glad i got it . there are a few things i dont like. for example . it is very short and tall . wish it was a little wider ... also not as much room as u would expect . but i have a lot of shit to put in my case so maybe it is big and i am just needy . none the less bad ass case . check out my channel to see this baby all dressed up !
Yes it will. I was actually wondering about the same thing, got this case a couple of days ago and I was happy to see a mounting bracket (that you mount on the motherboard tray) for SSI CEB/EATX form factor motherboards.
Yeh, it took me a while to notice that the Lian Li X2000 supported SSI CEB motherboards. The Asus W6T7 WS is a SSI CEB form factor motherboard.
I've ordered mine and it should arrive in around 5-6 days time. Thanks anyway for confirming it. As I'd still be looking for the answer, had I never have found out.
Just waiting for the right moment now to buy the CPU, RAM, and Motherboard.
Nice. Have you checked out the evga 3-SLI classified mobo btw?
I was wondering if I should buy the supercomputer or classified, finally I went for the classified. Guess its not that much difference between those two, but the classified has 9 sata ports and I have experienced that 6 just wont be enough with the setup i've had.
I have a friend that bought an EVGA motherobard and he had encountered problems after problems with it for some reason.
My existing motherboard is Asus, I've never had any problems with it, hence I'd prefer to stay loyal with Asus, knowing that there is a strong possibility that it will remain reliable.
I've just both my Intel Core i7 975 Processor.
Just waiting for the price moment to get the RAM and also getting the case when it is back in stock, probably tomorrow.
there are two 5.25" bays at the side of the case, you can choose teh optical bay to face the right hand side of the case or left hand side of the case.
Sorry, no for 360, but we do have special modding case for Xbox360 which is specially made for it, you can visit our webpage, can check out model number " XB-01"
I have this case and I can say, it's the best case I've ever had. I had Thermaltake Armor, Coolermaster Stacker 832, and I can say this for sure, the Lian-li X2000 is the best!
What motherboard are you using in your PC-X2000? It can fit upto E-ATX, and still have some space for cables, I have my home system setup with X2000, too. I only using ATX board with ATI3870X2, and no problem for the space for cables. The tip is to use the space next the fans.
The motherboard you see installed in a extended ATX motherboard. It has 2 cpu slots and 8 RAM slots. That board is like twice as wide as a normal board.
Will Lian Li be offering/including any way to make 2.5" HDDs compatible with the 3.5" drive bay mounting system? Perhaps some sort of small cage that screws onto the 2.5" hard drive then is mounted like normal with one of the included handles so the new SSD are supported. Also, if one of the SATA backplates are faulty would Lian Li be able to send out a new one without having to replace the entire case?
I am currently ordering this case. I have studied all pictures of this marvel, it's a real turbo jet casing! However, I have a an important remark to make: the 5.25 + 3.5 bay should be rotated 90 degrees for a frontal access instead of sideways. When we look at the chasiss it is possible. Also, there is much space that is lost: one more 5.25 please. This would make it the BEST casing around, kudos Lian Li :)
Hopefully, because I've changed my mind, I will not buy this casing as it is: it would be frustrating to pay so much money, for a splendid casing, but that lacks such a basic feature of offering more than 2 5.25" expansion bays - like living with the most beautiful but also dumbest lady... Hence it would even be a very bad investment.
The fact is that I need at least 3x 5.25 bays: 1 DVD/Blue Ray and and another for burning, plus a bay for fan and power control/leds, plus my 3.5 for multimedia card reader and FDD...
There are more case in Lian Li product lines, for different user's need, you can visit Lian Li website for more product detail, you may pick up the case which you like.

economy would be a $50 case. Enthusiast would be $150-$300. $500 on the other hand is just too much. I suppose if you have the money to waste, go for it =)
Oh, wow... I might get one of these for my next build. My current build is in a PC-K7B and am very impressed with even that 'cheap' Lian-Li. This thing would be a serious step up.
doesn't look like there is a way to mount a radiator inside since the fans are 140mm. Will there be any brackets or some sort of accessory for this? Would be awsome to be able to mount a PA120.3 in there since it has so much room. Maybe even a window to show off that nice balck interior?
I saw this in the 3Dgameman forums. All I can say is this is the best case I have ever seen. Any idea on this price yet? I might start saving up to get one of these.
Does it ship with the ventilators? And can the top bays 5.25 and 3.5 be removed entirely?

Looks good. But! It have some serious flaws:
1. Costs around 500$
2. The optical drive bays are facing to the sides.
3. Way to tall.
4. Not able to put the PSU at the bottom
5. Two 80mm fans at the bottom

Because I'm looking to buy both, as long as the motherboard fits inside, as it is a huge motherboard.
Thanks.

Will there be any update of this case anytime soon? I mean, Lian Li have come a long way since this baby where released. Things like:
- No tools expansionslot cards system
- Rubber mounting on the HDD's
- Support for SSD
- Fan's mounted with rubber rings
- Rubber mounted inside doors to prevent vibrations.
- and etc.
Janeszku 2 years ago 4
Dear Sir,
Currently there is no plan for update for this model, actually we do have accessories for this case to support SSD with it's SATA hot swap back panel.
By the way, I am using Tyr PC-X2000 at home, and it's runs very silent, the only noise is from the six 7200RPM HDDs.
