WOW... OGM Man just imagine the sharpness. If my math is correct and you had 10,000 of those screens (1:55) taken out and layed side by side like 100 by 100, you would have a screen that covers 120" and its native resolution would be 192,000 x 108,000. just one photo would cover 180.0 GB. :O
just try not to to avoid still images and logos during the first hours of use ! but if I were u I will probably go for a DLP or wait for the laser tv coming up in few months
im getting a mitsh. 65 inch dlp. the bulb in it ( under normal use should last from 8 to 10 thousand hours and on mits. web site the replacement bulb is only $ 99.00 bucks.
dlp is the way to go look for mitsubishi diamond dlp its image quality is amazing no burn even after left bluray on pause over night its also more bang for your buck
Plasma's: Burn images in when played a "logo" (ie:channel logo) on the screen for too long (not good for gaming etc)
LCD's: Have motion lag in fast movements because it cannot react (unless the new samsung range which has a faster response time etc which eliminates this) perfect for games.
Rear projection, very good for movies etc, but also burn images in like plasmas.
(i'm nto referring everything to games but that's just a hint).
dlp? are you saying about rear-projection? i only said that lcd's (without fast response times and good engines) have motion lag and plasmas burn in....i never said about 'DLP's'...O_-"
I want to know if I should use an LCD or a Plasma TV. The space is 30 inches wide. I will be using it for playing blue ray movies and for playing my Xbox 360.
definately lcd for gaming, no burning images in like plasma, and if you get a leading brand that has a extremely fasdt response-time; it will have no"motion lag" especially in games with fast-combat scenarios etc.
