  • Ed is so backstreet boy here, ahaha. :P

  • after this music video they said that Thom since then has perfered darker clothing and shorter hair

  • iT`S A BEAUTIFUL SONG... so different than the actual radiohead, but has some magic for me, it makes me remember my childhood... 1993, damn!

  • wow thom is barely recognisable with that haircut!! he actually looks a bit like ronan keating at one point!

  • Wow this is incredible, so much better than the album version. There's la wall of sound wrapped around the song plus some lovely new guitar parts.

  • This is song sounds so much like other alternative bands at the time except for Thom's awesome vocals, but this song is still pretty awesome, it's happy, old and it's RADIOHEAD!

  • 0:52 Dave Mustaine?

  • lol! yeah...!

  • Jonny found a good hairstyle and stuck with it

  • this sounds like his on a friday song happy song

  • Woah. Was that part of the video, or was Thom really rocking a platinum blonde mullet?

  • Unfortunately'!

  • Thanks Zedetnik. I hadn't heard this version before, and I certainly didn't know the band was once called 'On A Friday'.

    Cheers for posting!

  • johnny is bangin

  • hahaha his hair is epic =D

  • what a hair! LOOL

  • oh the early 90's

  • awesome song

  • This song has a nice old-school feel to it.

  • thom yorke is so wierd

  • And as we all are well aware of, the weird tend to be some of the most amazing people.

  • @Seishinbunretsusho Agreed!

  • @Seishinbunretsusho Thom wasn't weird, it was just the nineties

  • So is every amazing musician ha, I think he's considered insane

  • is it just me or is this a different version than the one on pablo honey? either way, sweet song. i love this band to death.

  • Yeah, this is different. It's on the Towering Above the Rest Collection. I'm not exactly sure when/where it's from. I like it a lot as well.

  • Yeah, but I like this version better! =]

  • love song, love radiohead but the hair in this video is shameful!

  • I mistook Thom for Martha Stewart when I first saw this......

  • lol, and here I thought I was the only one.

  • Boy, they sure have changed a lot since then. Gotta love the bleached blond hair and nirvanaesque clothing style.

Great song. Only one of three that I enjoy off Pablo Honey. The others being Blow Out and of course Creep.

  • wow, been a fan of radiohead for years, but never seen this video before. Seems like there vh1 you otta know moment. somthing you'd hear in a chic flick, not that it's bad but it's very normal.

  • thom, your fucking hair!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Check out Colin's hair flip right at the 1:50 mark.

    Jeeeeeeeez..

  • LOL!!!!

  • WOW great song, but i'm glad thom got rid of that long blonde hair!!

  • Is this the US version?

  • me enkanta este tema!

    Radiohead is love!

  • so what version is this???

  • lovely

  • agreed

  • i love this song... such a feel good song, brings back memories!

  • DAVE MUSTAINE, hahahahah really, he looks like a experiment between edgar winter and dave. a faliled experiment, lol.

    thom we adore you

  • Hahaha, he looks so much like Dave Mustaine in this video, it's scary!

  • whoa...his hair....its...long....and really blonde...uh..i dont really know what to think about that at all...

  • Ahhhhh . So dassling...... too bright.... espesially thom s hair haha. Nice song though

  • Man wtf is up with Thom's hair? He looks like Ronan Keating :\

  • draco malfoy

  • Haha, that works too yeah

  • i never knew bono collaberated with radiohead XD

  • hahah, did thom yorke grease his hair with ky jelly and stick it up jonny greenwood's jacksy?

    lol

  • hahaha

  • Where can I find this version of the song? You are correct, it is far better than the Pablo Honey version

  • This is better than the Pablo Honey version.

  • most definitely is, why didn't they use this version for pablo honey?

  • wtf with ed's shirt??? he had some great pecs aahaha , i'm kidding, but look at 1:03 please!

  • Phil should use some Bosley hair loss solution.

  • 1. Ed's rockstar poses in this video are amazing. Someone put him on a clifftop, right now!

    2. Jonny playing a Rickenbacker. Weird.

    3. I still think this song's amazing. They should bring it back, like they've done with Blow Out.

  • Johnny's playing Rickenbacker quite often. Go and see some of their live performances. But sure, it's more Edgish guitar, than Greenwoodish ;).

  • he looks like fucking dave mustaine rofl

  • lol

  • Thank god, Thom got rid of that hair

    Great song though

  • platinum blonde is not his colour

  • it looked OK short

    but I tend to agree

    anyway.. it's just hair

  • this vesion is beautiful. I much prefer it to the Pablo Honey version. The strings rocks, and I prefer the cool bass lines in it. I don't think I have ever heard a more relaxing mellow song :) Radiohead Tower above the rest.

  • saideepo you dip...that IS thom yorke

  • I think it's their most underrated song today.

  • I'm from Kentucky, in my opinion Radiohead is one of the greatest bands of our time!!!

  • Plopsack...your name says a lot about you! You are also a music Nazi and we all know what people think of Nazi's. Each to their own, get a grip and stop hassling other people. You miserable g!t...

  • there is some extra guitar in this version(which should have been in the album version)

the guy in the video gets 10th position in thom yorke look-alike contest

  • wow i just decided to look at the rest of the songs from Pablo Honey today-wow. its so amazing to see how Radiohead has progressed over the years. I feel like ive watched my child grow up. This song is so great. Dont get me wrong i love Radiohead's new stuff, but id love to see them come out with a great alternative pop album again.

  • That is the worst hair I've ever seen.

  • Um, changing the topic here - wow, his hair! Who knew?

  • Popsack it is horrible what you say,Thom Yorke would flail in its tomb if it was dead and he listened to you to speak, for luck it is alive, and you can read their comments, each song is an own universe, even when Thom stops to feel emotions for a song he stops it to sing.Popsack today I baptize you as "Pop is Dead"radiohead doesn't make conceptual disks so angelicbaby92 non "ruining music"Popsack you are not worthy of listening radiohead, you listen the radiohead music, you don't listen their disks

  • Thank you! :] However, i don't think plopsack will stop bothering me about that. I agree with you! Every song of radiohead has its own individuality and express a different emotion. Maybe Plopsack likes albums that have the same type of song over and over. but as for me, I love radiohead since all their songs seem so different, all expressing a different feeling. At least you understand. :] Plopsack is very narrow-minded.

  • You are obviously ignorant about albums. I guess that's because of your age. Since music became easily available by download, people aged around 20 and younger think in terms of songs, not albums. Obviously I like Radiohead, otherwise I wouldn't be here. Do you think Radiohead albums "have the same type of song over and over"? No, of course they don't. So don't accuse me of liking albums that "have the same type of song over and over". That doesn't make any sense applied to me.

  • The songs on great albums compliment each other and have been arranged in a specific order to give a certain meaning or feeling (the order of songs on Radiohead albums, for example, have been thought about in great detail). Think of it in terms of a film. Of course it's possible to enjoy a specific scene from a film taken out of context, but if you watch every scene of a film in order, it's a much better experience.

  • Why must you continually bother me about this? Do you have OCD? You have a very narrow mind. Why can't you understand that arguing with me will not change anything, so just drop it? Once again, I'm just one person in a billion. Why don't you argue with the other 999,999,999? Hopefully, you'll die before you finish arguing with the 10th person, since you just can't stop arguing with me.

  • You're bothering me as much as I'm bothering you, so all the thinly-veiled insults that you're trying to make are equally applicable to you.

  • Unless it's a broken chronological order, of course, if it is, that is the right order, and thus should be the best experience anyway :)

  • Actually, I think you'll find that the band agree that their music is best listened to fully and not spliced up into different elements.

  • You think that people over 20 are suddenly mature and can understand this "great concept".You're only 23 years older and you're not that mature.I am younger than 20, but if you're older than 20, why don't you be the responsible, mature, and wise person and stop arguing with me?I guess I have to be the wise one. Stop arguing with me and go away. Responding back just makes you seem immature. So I'm going to end this here.Don't think you're making a difference in this world by arguing, just stop.

  • "Mature" has nothing to do with it at all, and I didn't make any reference to that. I was talking about it being a cultural thing, which is what the age is to do with. If you didn't get that simple concept then you must be quite retarded.

  • I'm going to stop this petty argument now. I really am getting tired of this. Just say whatever you want. It's not like I care. :]

  • You said you were going to "end this here", yet you replied yet again. You obviously want to have the last word, yet you're not intelligent enough to respond to my points. You'll obviously reply to this message, once again proving my point.

  • But there are artists that first they should become well-known, of it is necessary of entering in the market live Radiohead and their music, and internet that gives more freedom to the music, live and that they disappear the groups that alone they look for to enrich with the music but the music, like the good artists say it "is not sold

  • They don't care Radiohead if you discharge its internet music or if you bought a CD in a store. I don't believe that to look for music for intenet is to destroy the music, and me if I have many CD bought in store, and it is for that I have money, but I always look for in first internet, there is sometimes albunes that are a dirt and alone you lose money that it doesn't deserve to be listened in "high quality"

  • A good song should be good alone, the same as in in a context, that would be a conceptual album, but that doesn't make Radiohead. Radiohead is in favour of the music, they don't care stores, they say that the stores and the music companies enrich with its music. hey are the music companies those that money, and Radiohead wins they don't make money for the disks, but rather they win that its music is disclosed they make money for concerts.

  • I am fanatic of radiohead and without a doubt this song has influences of U2, I can even see it singing to Bono, incredible to recognize at U2 in the alone of guitar. . . IOI :P !!!

  • Didn't realise they all liked playing Rickenbocker's back then. It's one of the few videos where you don't see Jonny with a Tele.

  • Wow..I've never seen Thom like that

  • Thoms hair = What the fuck?

Phils hair = What the FUCK, that doesnt seem right!

  • Real Artists are wierdos :P

  • takes me back

    to the ninety's =}

  • This brings back memories

  • oh this is sooooo 90's.

    it's sickening I love it.

  • Luckily Radiohead's U2 phase only lasted for one song...

  • hahaha, well said

  • You can still here the influece in some of their music, for instance "High and Dry" and a few other songs off of The Bends like "Planet Telex"

  • Pablo Honey wasn't a bad album, but thank God they continued to grow musically.

  • whatafuck was thom y thinking with that hair?

  • i bet we'd all like to know

  • yesss! i was searching for this video!

i found it when i discovered a 'Radiohead Special' in the eurochanel, but i caught it at the end! :'(

i was able to find a lot of rare Radiohead videos though! some i haven't found on Youtube yet

  • You should search their band on wiki. Then see all their songs and albums and then search and them on youtube. That's how I find all their songs. :]

  • Why don't you just buy their albums?

  • I have a certain method, you see, which involves deciding whether or not I like a song and then putting the songs on my zen mp3 player. XD I may not have answered your question, but you can figure it out. lol

  • Radiohead's albums (like most good albums) are better listened to in full. People like you are ruining music.

  • If I ruin music,at least I do it only to myself and not to you.I think what I do doesn't affect whether or not music sounds good or bad to other people. So don't get angry unless you want ME to listen to the music in high quality (And I'll be grateful if you are). You can go buy it at the store and waste your own money."In full", I think you mean in high quality, but if you mean it literally like all the songs in the cd then I'll just say that I always get all the songs of the cd just to listen.

  • I do buy albums at stores sometimes, but I listen to it on youtube first to see if I like it or not.You don't know the whole situation - you only know your side of the story.I don't destroy music(if that is even possible).I love music so much and listen constantly to it.There are unfortunate families who cannot afford to waste time or money going to the stores and buying the albums. They can never listen to passionate music and here you are criticizing. The only alternative is . . . you know it.

  • I don't mean "high quality", I meant albums as a whole, rather than separating them into individual tracks as you said you do. If you're going to download, you can always arrange them in order. Rather than, "deciding whether or not I like a song and then putting the songs on my zen mp3 player."

  • eh, I'm getting tired of fighting with you. Just read what nino19xd said in her comments. Now stop bothering me about me "ruining music" haha. That's not even possible. and fighting with me is doing no good, because I'm only one person in a billion, maybe more who downloads. after you fight with me, fight with the other 999,999,999 other people who download. :]

  • Why?

  • Get a life. Stop bothering me.

  • :D Nice opinion, Yank.

  • hahahahahHAHAHAHAHA

    omg! THAT was funny ;)

  • thanks man

  • WTF is up with Thom's hair!???!!!

  • This is great song.

And you people are goofy because Pablo Honey is a great album.

  • doesn't this song remind you of U2, on their album Joshua Tree? It does for me.

  • yey a litle bit XD

  • Good song. Too bad I can't stand looking at Thom's hair in this video.

  • best band ever. Thom's hair in this video is crazy

  • Thom's hair is insane lol what was he thinking. Pablo Honey definitely had some good songs but it didn't flow well overall.

  • I agree, my least favourite album. But still some great songs like Anyone Can Play Guitar, Pop Is Dead and of course, Creep.

  • este video d donde salio?

    ajas

    no me la sabia

  • This is a different version.

Great band. I wish Mirrorkicks supported them on their tour but Bat for Lashes aren't too bad either I guess

  • luv this song, luv all pablo honey

  • MULLET :)

  • Sounds like U2 almost in this song. Maybe its just the mullet

  • awesome

  • Radiohead 1st in the world

  • radiohead and nirvana .... XD

  • this version is better than the album version

  • This song is called "Stop Whispering" now can you try "Stop Talking"

    Please.

  • They look so different! My God!

    Still sound awesome though :D

  • Jonny, with a Rickenbacker?

    Never!

  • Bizarre; first time I've seen this video and they obviously didn't use the album version of the song. Yes, we all must be reminded of blond-haired Thom every once in a while ;)

  • its really the skeleton in the radiohead fan's closet (prolly Thom's too)

  • After going on a nostalgia kick and watching a bunch of old Radiohead videos, I can't help but wonder if someone at EMI was trying to sabotage their career via Pablo Honey videos. Seriously, can you honestly believe that someone actually thought this and the videos for Anyone Can Play Guitar and Pop Is Dead were *good* ideas?

  • indeed fuck emi

  • The begging of this video looks like a fucking Folgers coffee commercial , but I still love the song , Radiohead rules.

  • folger's coffee. lmao

  • this version is awful... stop whispering is such a great song on pablo honey

  • Brilliant album, Pablo Honey and The Bends are by far there best albums. Bring on the slaughter.....

  • SLAUGHTER. SLAUGHTER. SLAUGHTER. There is nothing groundbreaking about Pablo Honey. Its a carbon copy of music at the time, such that these songs could have been written by anyone. Only radiohead could have written the subsequent albums. they had to start somewhere. (bends is arguable

  • i disagree, the bends is one of my favourite albums by radiohead (along with ok computer)

what makes you dislike it so much?

  • The Bends is one of their best albums. None of Radiohead's disks are garbage; not even Pablo Honey, which is generally accepted as their weakest effort (but also to be expected, given that it was their first).

Fake Plastic Trees, The Bends, My Iron Lung... Anyone who says "The Bends" is garbage just has bad taste.

  • Exactly. The thing with Pablo Honey is that it's the most straight foward rock that they have...as good as it may be, it just can't be compared to the majesty of albums like Kid A.

  • I'm odd I much prefer Pablo Honey to Kid A. It's an album I had to listen to several times til it grew on me.The Bends is probably my favourite though. I still had a tape deck when Pablo Honey came out and "The Bends" was the first ever cd I owed. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

  • I think coldplay copied this guys.

  • Yes ...they do!!

  • REALLY?! What was your first clue?

  • they sound very much alike, just listen to their new song Viva la vida and you will het it!

  • leave his weird weird hair alone!! lol. It was the 90's a very "i-don't-give-a-shit" era in style. Thats why i love the 90's

  • best song man...love it!

  • you could get away with tht shit in the 90's lol

  • colin reminds me of brett anderson in this video.

  • why are people dissing Thom's hair?

any way, Thom looks awesome :p

  • i hate usa version just hate it

  • I am listening, but seriously .. THE HAIR!! Ha.That made my morning.I had to turn my head so I wouldn't have to think of Thom like that every time I hear this song now.Hilarious.But yes,as for the song ... I really like it.I'm tempted to now purchase that in which I have avoided for whatever reason (c'mon .. people say Radiohead really started with "The Bends")Sounds like those "people" were/are wrong.Man,Radiohead are just too damn impressive.

  • Best song from Pablo Honey.

  • I love the song, but Christ on a crutch Thom's hair is just... wow. He looks a million times better now. He's like a fine wine.
