this guy managed to make a gameboy sound as massive as the original sample kode used, he deserves credit for that alone.

Its called 8-bit and its not that hard to do. You just put a song into a program and it restricts the sounds to 8-bit. There is some other things he tweaked to this song but the majority of them were done with a simple program.

With that said I really do like this song, Not sure if more then the original but its close.

I don't think he did it with a bitcrusher, that would sound very, very, very different.

I think this is a real remix where he replaced all the synths of the original project file with 8bit synths. Quarta330 does a lot of 8bit stuff, and if he just simple bitcrunched the original song I don't think Kode9 would release it.
