Nice vid. I thouroughly enjoyed it and all the dislikes and complainers... Don't let them get you down. I am a great fan of Houdini too! Thanks for sharing the vid.
This was a great vid. Don't let the complainers get you down. You've done a fine job. I'd like to see more from you. I've been a fan of Houdini for over 40 years and have read quite a lot. I think your short introduction is a fine intro.
I thought in the hard work, but if the guy was going to try hard, then he should have asked or hired someone else to be the narrator. It could have been his father or a radio announcer.
Outstandingly well done film. I am currently reading a book about Houdini by Sid Fleischman called "Escape! The Story of the Great Houdini" and this video made a nice companion to the book.
Good except it was his father who moved to Appleton before the rest of his family you also missed the part about him getting the name Harry Houdini. Harry was just a stage name and his brother suggested that his last name be Houdini from the name Houdin which was the last name of his his hero Robert Houdin. Houdini ment like Houdin so that just made sense. But everything else is good!
Great film but a few faults.. It was a whale not a squid he escaped from. He did refuse for days to go to the hospital even collapsing on stage.. His spleen probobly ruptured from the stroke but this would have happened shortly anyway because of the illness. and he was 4 when he moved to the us thru mexico not 2.:-D
very well done visually and historically, but the judges will grill you for putting together a biography rather than interpreting his role in influencing history.
Nice vid.
