I love this tone. I have a Gibson Les Paul Custom with humbuckers that I want to replace the pickups in (but with no wood cutting). So I'm looking for advice on humbucker-sized P90 pickup replacements. Any advice would be much appreciated. I was thinking maybe the Lindy Fralin P92 or the Duncan P-Rails or similar. What do you think?

@bluesderek ist doch, ich habe meine Instrumente die ich spiele und damit ist es doch gut... everybody can have fun with a good instrument - for me it does not matter if he is a professional or a collector. Collectors love the instrument the same as a performing musician

Maybe your beloved Goldtop needs a companion so it doesn't get lonely. I think this Les Paul would do very nicely. There really is something special about this guitar. It seems to have that magic to it. I would definitely not let that guitar go.
