The book didn't say breathing was a habit, it was something they did to be able to smell which is a major sense for them. I am irritated by the fact that a fight actually breaks out here & how they make Edward look like a pushover by constantly slamming him into the ground/wall. Also not sure why this movie said he didn't fight as well as other vampires simply because he is faster. The choreography is good but it takes away from the diplomacy that was stressed in the book.
