Lemon is considered an acid fruit if measured outside the body. Research shows a ripe lemon will create an alkaline ash in the body, hence helping the body to become more alkaline. Lemon is also great for cleansing the liver.
@ALIK63ALIK Lemons are acidic, but in your body they are a potent alkalizer …cooked/ pasteurized lemon are a different story...like store bought lemonade is very acidic and always make you acidic...cooked orange juice is even worse!
Dear MsCasey. I find that most people who begin eating an alkalizing diet begin to experience health benefits immediately. I invite you to try eating alkaline foods for yourself and see if you get the benefits so many others have enjoyed. If not then you can move on to something else that works for you. In the meantime I am going to keep telling people about the powerful, healing, amazing benefits of an alkaline diet!
awsome! so much info.. an gorgeous.. looks like Wonder Woman.. hey but tell me. anyone.. wont juices without the fiber as mentioned raise blood suger levels?? Fiber, Protien, an fats slow sugar to the blood stream.. right
@thallious9876 Yes, if you are juicing fruits, you will raise your blood sugar levels. But most fruits are not really alkaline (as they are picked unripe) so I recommend using green vegetables in you juice such as cucumbers, celery, kale, cilantro, lettuces, etc.
I know sometimes when your body is more acid from eating lots of meats, dairy and flour products, the alkalizing greens can seem very unappealing. However...just give it a try and water the juice down if you need to. I guarantee you that as your body becomes more alkaline the green juice will actually start to look and taste delicious. Try my website for more free recipes that may be a little more appealing. Also search Elaina Love here on Youtube for yummy food demos.
@Username2046 What is called RAW (and legally called raw) as far as almonds if grown in Cali (the almond cap of N.Amer) is by law pasteurized. Imported from Spain are raw - but finding them is ver difficult.
I'm curious to know why you don't use the "leafy green" leaves of the celery? I only see the stalks going into the juice. Also, I'd like to hear you discuss wheat grass juice. Thanks for the education you offer!
Dear Jetsetmodern, I usually skip the leaves of the celery because they are bitter. However they will not hurt you and you can add them to your green juices, soups or pates, just make sure you balance them with plenty of celery stalk for best flavor.
Fresh wheatgrass is an amazing food. It alkalizes the body better than any other green juice and it is so packed with chlorophyll that it is off the charts in it's ability to heal the human body.
what is more alkaline oats, bran flakes, or all bran... from what i know so far based on their pH levels this is the order from alkaline to acidic: all bran-- bran flakes---oat meal
grains are not alkaline forming in the body. In fact they are acid forming. There are some grains which would be more alkaline than the ones you commented on and are actually helpful for becoming more alkaline. Those are: buckwheat, quinoa, millet and teff. Of course eating them sprouted/raw would be ideal, but even cooked you will get good results.
@Elainaloveyou are grains good for you though?? and also cant i drink alkaline water as a substitue? my father who had cancer used that to battle his acidity base in his body, iam curious cause iam gettin to the age were i need to start worring about my health lol @ worry but your videos are very informative thanks for your help.
@joshthemyth1 Yes most grains are acid forming. Here are the exceptions: Quinoa: cook 1 cup with 1 1/4 cups water for 15-20 minutes..delicious! If you sprout the quinoa first, it's even more alkalizing and protein rich. More: millet, buckwheat, teff. I don't use teff in raw foods, but I hear it makes great Ethiopian bread. I make buckwheat crackers that are out of this world delicious. Go to my website for free recipes. Click recipes button.
7.0? The ph of humans is in the range of 7.35-7.45 7.46 is alkaline. I think you made a critical error in your video. I am in no way being obnoxious, just thought you would like to know incase you would like to change the video. :)
According to what I've learned, our blood needs to stay a bit above 7 ph for us to remain alive. Most ph test strips do not have ranges in between numbers, therefore when testing your PH it will need to show up at the 7 #. I hope that clarifies. This seems a little more technical l just wanted to share with people about how to get more alkaline eating an alkaline forming diet so they could benefit from the information I have presented here. Thanks for sharing :)

You said you can add corn to this soup..but isn't that an acidic food? I have that on my foods to avoid list.
Momluvs2Sew 6 months ago
@Momluvs2Sew Hi you are right, corn is acidic. It's fun as a garnish but I wouldn't include it in my diet on a regular basis. More of a fun food :)
