Ubiquitous...that sums it up alright. If this is the part of Dam Square I am thinking, it attracts a certain element or style (shall we say) that isn't mine either. As you state about his charisma, sometimes in any genre, that overrides style. The tourists go to A'dam, see a busker and are agog at the novelty of it, shoot a vid, no matter the quality of the busker...as a resident you're very selective.
wow Edward...Gayle is right, he is really good. See if you can catch him in daylight and capture the charisma. You have a knack for finding good buskers in Amsterdam! ;}
If you've browsed through my Favorites then you know this is not really my preferred style of music. But this guy demonstrates that musicality can transcend style.
