That is a bastard of a teeter. But I too don't get the chopping of trees to break bones and bikes. Plenty of fun to be had without that. Just gotta go and find it. Trails are littered with these things already. Mostly broken/rotting. Rusty nails everywhere. That sucks. I like my trails natural. And without stumps everywhere from people chopping trees to make stuff that just rots. I ride the stuff when it's there and it's fun, but I wouldn't miss it. And the long term downsides are major.

I've been mtn biking and riding bmx for a long time and i have to say i really don't get these elaborate wood constructions that have become so popular. Just seem like a formula for maximum pain and injury with minimal reward if you don't screw up.
