  • i plsy bsddoon. i vsnt typr either

  • This video is awesome. Thank you VERY MUCH!

  • As a multiple woodwind player I have been double tonguing for years on the flute, but no matter how hard I try on the single and double reeds, my quality of articulation just will not match the way I want it to on double tonguing. I know it is a "hot" topic but I generally leave the double tonguing for the flute and the single tonguing for everything else. Of course that takes a lot of articulation practice to sustain sixteenth notes at 138 :)

  • Overture to Marriage of Figaro has some badass double tounging on bassoon.

  • I can play the triangle...awesome video Professor Terry! LOL

    PK

  • Yes usually double reedists who can double tongue are near virtuoso level, or so far the ones I've heard.

  • Wow, I never knew that double-tonguing could work (well) on double-reed instruments. I've only heard of the technique being used on flutes before.

  • the tequnique is also quite characteristic of brass instruments (especially the smaller ones)
