  • Anything with Es or Fs automatically rate a 5-star with me. Being born in '46, I grew up seeing them on Southern, ACL and other routes, but never enough. Thanks for sharing these with those of us who may never get the chance to see them!

  • There is something special about trains that defies words.My dad and i used to watch steam engines in Paterson NJ. That was 45 years ago and the last days of steam.My grandfather was a brake man on steam era locos. Wish i had been born 30 years earlier so i could have been there with my grand dad!

    wish i had been born atleast 60 years earlier just to see the great railroads and their steam equipment. being born in an era where you only have one passenger line and new diesels
