  • regcure.....its a rogue......

  • WARNING: ParetoLogic XoftSpySE IS a virus! It gets on your machine without authorization, hides there and doesn't appear on your start menu. It interferes with other spyware monitoring software. There is NO uninstall and it is impossible to e-mail anyone at their company. The ONLY way to contact anyone is by phone.

You'll notice that there are no comments on any of their pages - that's because they are CRIMINALS and afraid word will get out, so they remove them all.

  • @TheMrBlinx ParetoLogic is a legitimate company actually :P

  • @ballader1 If so, why did they handle my complaint in such a cowardly and "illegitimate" manner? Why don't they care how their "legitimate" software got on my machine illegitimately? If it's so "legitimate", why is there no uninstall? Explain that, please, because they won't.

  • @TheMrBlinx I can't explain it :P, but ParetoLogic is a legitimate software company, are you sure that you don't have any malicious software in your system that is getting rid of it? Let me try installing it on a VM and I will make a video

  • @ballader1 Getting rid of what? I have Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware and Avast av (which is also incompetent and quit working, has no uninstall and can't be over written again so it'll start working again). I didn't DL Pareto and never heard of it till it started popping it's head up for split seconds. Took weeks to finally read that one word and find it. I managed to make it stop, but their help was no help. Like idiots, they say "control panel", but it doesn't appear there, nor on start menu. VM?

  • @TheMrBlinx oh, I see

    VM = Virtual Machine

I have no words to say I guess, I've never been a fan of them, but still it is a legitimate company verified. How the hell can they do such stuff and have their programs verified to be good and their company active?!?! Anyways... if you see it again, send me a PM I can help with that anytime anyplace

  • @ballader Thank you, I'll do that. Actually, it's still on my machine. I know where to find it (even though it's not on the start menu or control panel). I had some dialog with them, even a live chat, but they couldn't seem to get past using control panel. They sent me some removal advice, but by then, I was so frustrated I didn't even read it. I just managed, the first time I saw it, to get it to shut up. Since it's not free, you would think they would be interested in how it got on my machine.

  • i use comodo internet security.why is paretologic inc in the trusted software vendors list?this video clearly shows they are not trusted...Curious!!!

  • i highly recommend ccleaner.ive used it for over a year and had no problems with computer at all.the user is putting a lot of faith in these programs.i did a lot of research on ccleaner and the pros far outweighed the cons.the paretologic website and regcure are bright red in the WOT.sod regcure.!!!

  • I was a RegCure believer; but the last time I tried to register it after a system recovery, a pop-up box indicated that I had too many installations and needed a new validation license. None of my numerous other software programs has ever done that to me. Now I'm a RegTool, System Mechanic, and PC Tools Registry Mechanic believer. In my opinion, the reviewer on this clip makes the right decision in rejecting RegCure.

  • @ gbwisconsin - It was rejected after running it on several machines and also because of users complaining that it stopped their computers from functioning as they should do, and in some cases removing essential data from the OS :-)

  • BTW, I switched to CCleaner partially because it is free, as opposed to $40 for RegCure.

  • I used RegCure for the last year on my XP desktop, and had no problems with it at all. When it expired and wouldn't clean any longer, my computer started acting up again. I recently downloaded CCleaner at the recommendation of a computer programmer, and hope it will do just fine based on his recommendation. If I don't like it, I will definitely go back to RegCure.

  • faithfamilyfriends1 - CCleaner has an excellent reputation and is recommended by many. I still would not recommend RegCure and know of many users whose machines have been rendered useless, and CCleaner is FREE :-)

  • @faithfamilyfriends1 after this video and you still would go back to regcure.sounds like you need your head cleaning.!

  • regcure is useless does more damage than it fixes its just CRAP

  • asdablade - What more can I say lol

  • 8D i posted 3 long comments on a video supporting regcure and i think i shut people up :P

  • CrayonPetals - LOL, nice one :-)

RegCure is crap, plain and simple :-)

  • ccleaner was recommended by my computer teacher. I thought so, Ccleaner is better than regcure. I guess he was right.

  • Gamer0801 - CCleaner is much safer and your computer teacher was right in recommending it. It's one of the few that I would recommend :-)

  • what the fffffff ????????? that was the most painfull thing I ever watched

  • sshawnyoo - Many so-called Registry Cleaners will do more harm than good, programs such as CCleaner won't harm the Registry and is much easier for the average user :-)

  • REGCURE IS SHIT. don't use regcure it will delete important registry keys. ive used this piece of shit program before and it destroy my pc.

    IT'S A F#$CKING ROUGE!

  • theunknownmankind - What more can I add LOL

Can only agree with you :-)

  • it killed my desktop making pc unusable.

:( had to throw out windows xp desktop and get vista dell studio 15

  • Danerd9 - It's a very dangerous program and does a great deal of damage. Stick with safe cleaners that do minimal cleaning :-)

  • what about uniblue, their registry cleaner? safe or not?

Advanced system care, IObit?. safe or not?

  • yewtubepl0x - Uniblue: Rogue

IOBit safe, but CCleaner Registry Integrity not as aggressive and performs better :-)

  • is uniblue speed up my pc rogue?

  • paretologic is fuking scam! in fact they protected from making a regcure article on wikipedia so i couldn't make the first ever article to warn people.

  • regcure is a rouge thingey. it rips of users and is bad. i had it on xp and it totaled my pc. also i waited patiently during the full scan and it said 6399. i had auslogics boostspeed so i don't kow why i had that many errors. i clicked yes delte and after a reboot, i saw nothing on my desktop. i threw out my pc since then and got a new laptop for vista. wot says scam and fraud.

  • Danerd9 - It's not a rogue as such as rogues install malware, but RegCure is a very dangerous program which can do a great deal of damage to the Registry and OS.Paretologic have thousands of affiliates peddling this crap and none of their programs are any good. WOT rates it as a scam and fraud for the methods used to promote it, it's basically 'scareware' :-)

  • omg me too, i had this black screen so what i did was reinstall the os (win 7 64) and it works now but the proceses lagg, like it doest distribute the proceses correctly, and when i turn on de pc it starts putting all proceses on 1st core and not all 3, then i reboot and it works fine., do you think i should get another processor?

  • @lucnfs - lol. u should get the WOT addon for firefox, internet explorer, or chrom if u r using.

seriosuly wot is better than mcaffe site advisor and norton shit thing.

    mywot dottt cooomm

    regcure is shit.

    shit

    shit

    shit

    shit

    shit

    shit

  • yeh lol, i might just buy replacement parts in de future, not much of a problem

  • @ lucnfs - Upgrade your processor and ensure that it is compatible with Win 7 64bit and also install the virtual machine :-)

  • I've used CCleaner for years without any issues. It's the mildest Registry Cleaner there is but still very useful for cleaning up old entries that are no longer valid.

  • BigGeekDaddy - CCleaner is extremely safe and for most users the easiest to use. It is one that I would recommend :-)

  • ComputerHelpGuy1 - No problem LOL

RegCure is a disaster and BAD NEWS for anyone who pays for it as it will do a great deal of damage to the users registry.

It can't be classified as a rogue as it doesn't download malware, but it CAN be classified as a PUP, but is very close to being a rogue because of the tactics used :-)

  • I think I saw this on one of my other computers that I no longer manage myself anymore :o

  • Hizan546 - There is only one word that describes this program - CRAP!

Paretologic are also using heavy-handed methods to get their programs removed from malwareurl and other sites that have them blacklisted :-)

  • Ah i did confused with RegASSASSIN. Sorry my fault.

  • Agent349 - It's the start of the week LOL

  • This tool RegCure is from Malwarebytes right ?

  • Agent349 - RegCure is from paretologic, finding more faults than what actually exist.

Malwarebytes only do Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, FileASSASSIN, RegASSASSIN and StartUpLite :-)
