  • The failed prenatal prevention has left my daughter with brain damage, we asked for more test and we were promised she was fine. Then we found out she suffocated for over a month, it was so bad her brain stopped developing in the womb for over a month. Anyone know what it feels like to suffocate? Anyone ever been down below 2 hemoglobin? Anyone ever have 17% lactic acid running through their veins due to the destruction of tissue from lack of oxygen?

  • So, since you are one of the terribly unlucky few who had a problem that testing did not detect that means our whole system needs to be turned into a system where you will most likely not even be able to get testing? I a sorry for your loss and for it's ending your ability to think clearly.

  • Yes, this happened in USA. See my vids to see how the greed made the worlds best childrens hospital treat us because we expect her life long injuries to be compensated for.

  • Please. It is acknowledged by everyone who has examined our system that one of the problems with cost, other than the main problem of government red tape and laws that let their tort lawyer friends use the system as an ATM, is that doctors do far more testing than necessary to avoid lawsuits. "Greed" will never prevent a hospital from doing proper testing. Not all defects are detectable. Our daughter has trisomy 13. A Chromosome disorder that can not be detected. con't.....

  • The difference bwtween us is that we focus our energies on helping her, not on trying to find a scapegoat and pretending it has to be someone's fault and that the whole country should be made to suffer because of our misfortune.

  • I beg to differ with anyone who thinks the current US health care system is good. See my vids for a bit of the reality.

  • At last count roughly 77% of Americans beg to differ with you. That is why Obama has fallen back on his most effective tactic. LYING.

  • What is his lie? I think Obama's best policy is based on what he endured when he watched his mother fight the greedy insurance companies.

    Fix health care!

Nothing excuses what greed and corruption has put my family through.

  • What is his lie? OK, you just exposed yourself as knowing NOTHING about the plan. He says it preserves the private option when it essentially BANS the private option. He says he does not support a single payer system when he has said on numerous occcasions that that is exactly what he wants. He says it will not add to the debt or deficit which is such a huge lie that economists laugh out loud at it and even the CBO says he is wrong. I could go on all day.

  • Why don't you talk about the recent story from the U.K. where kidney dialysis is simply not an option because there are not enough dialysis machines in the whole nation? In the U.K. if you have kidney failure you have two options: get to the U.S. and pay for the care and live, or stay with the U.K.'s universal health care and die. Simple as that.

  • got anything besides storys that don't have anything to do with you or your kids. Just wondering. By the way, just because some claim Canada health care sucks does not mean US will fail at it. We already have the MRI machines.

  • I don't have any stories about myself or my kids because our health coverage and care is great. No problems means no stories.

  • well if you have a kid, and the kid suffers from lack of oxygen for over a month the entire time you have been asking for more testing. Then you find out the test "didn't pick it up" And now your kid has brain damage, how would you feel?

  • Terrible about losing a child but not insane and foolish enough to blame the whole health care system. NO systme ans no test is ever going to be a 100% guarantee against such things and under Obama's plan, as soon as a problem is detected the birth is no longer covered so you pay for it yourself or you murder the child for free.

  • I wonder why no one who supports universal health care tells stories like the on here on youtube under "A short course in brain surgery" about a man who came to the U.S. from Canada and paid for health care because he was going to have to wait 4 MONTHS for an MRI of his brain tumor because all of Canada has fewer MRI machines than any American city. Why? The beaurocracy says they are too expensive. Universal health care is a failure that we do not need.

  • I am all for HR 676--universal single payer health care. However, what would help make it possible? By Amending the Constitution which would state that everyone within the borders of the United State has a civil and human right to health care. This would give HR 676 the Constitutional backing it needs.

  • I lived in Europe for many years, where everyone has health care and nobody worries about medical bills. While I was there I had surgery and several health problems. I never paid a penny for the good care I received or medicine I was prescribed. Let's do it here!

  • Having health insurance means nothing nowadays.

The number 1 cause of bankruptcy is medical bills.
