Great work! Try leaving fingers 4 & 5 down throughout the E-B-d sequence. You can also leave finger 1 down throughout the sequence. Brother Steve's tin whistle pages explain it beautifully. Anyway, this is an easier way to play this and I think you're awesome.
Thank you! Honestly, I feel I still struggle with that tune, and I need guitar to make it sound good, as some dots(mostly E's in the first part) get more drowned, and whole tune sounds much more jumpy.
Lots of our playing can be improved but it doesn't diminish the value of it as it stands. Your video is lovely. Practice may improve it a bit, but it is lovely already!

I can think of so many hilarious places to whip one of those out and start playing it in public.

Thank you very much! I was actually thinking of that, so I´ll sure try it as well :-)

You're welcome! You can also rock between c#-D easily by leaving 4,5,6 down on the c#.

is that an overton whistle?
dawg1157 4 years ago
Yes it is (sadly, it was recorded in certain resolution and youtube resized it, so it looks "flat").
