Haha - I like how you get a piano playing the notes but this piece is mainly showing the notes that plays but not the music - it'll be much better if you play it with music as well.
Not to mention that 'The Pianist' compositions were performed by Janusz Olejniczak, a superb performer, reguardless of whether the piece was abbreviated in the film.

can you shut the fuck up you fucking reatrd. you dont know shit and u want to learn this piece. it takes many many years to learn this. you who doesent know notes nothin will never learn anything fuck u

hey, although I don't know notes,
I'm able to play La Campanella, Winter Wind etude, Liszt's Sonnetto del Petrarca, Liszt's Un sospiro and many others just be hearing the radio and watching others play.
Hence, I am the example of people who can't read notes but able to play the piano.
By the way, I already know the first 7:00 of the entire piece.
Accuse me of whatever shit example you are referring to but I do know proper shit.
knowing the notes of something is less than 1/4 of being able to truly play a piece. This is what makes different performers sound different. This is why some people say that Lang Lang is terrible or the Russian pianists shouldn't play Chopin. To express what the piece emotes to you is to know it, to feel it, to play it.
Download the DownloadHelper Add-On for Firefox and it will allow you to download this video. Using a video editor (Windows Movie Maker), you can slow down the video. I don't know if this might help you.
yeh, its the climax to a choatic and melancholic piece, it needs to be fast, painful and ecstaticly played to emphasise the obvious heartache it is trying to show. i play it in a similar style as i feel this suits it best. the beauty of opinion eh? :)
Do you mind if you could put it a teenee weeny bit slower, I want to learn this piece but I haven't got the notes of the whole piece an I can't read notes. Can you put it a bit slower for me please?
Is it possible if youncan upload the Liszt Orage please? I'm working on the Ballade no.1 at the moment and I would Appreeciate it if you could upload Liszt Orage please. I would like a little challenge for myself once I finished working on the Chopin Ballade no.1
Although I never liked Busoni's playing... I sure as hell am impressed at your ability to render the piano keyboard as it's being played.
The next amazing thing would be to be able to render a persons hands and to be able to try and program to respond to the piano music like a real player - THAT would be fucking awesome..
but this is awesome as well.
I just think that some of the recordings that their based on are a little messy - which isn't your fault.
This MIDI piano could not have ruined this Ballade more. it has a pedal; use it. and smooth the dang rhythms out! jeez

I find the moderato very hard to play because of the rythm and the pedal.
In this interpration I like the beginning and the fast parts.

Useful when checking up on the rhythm and correct mechanics.

@artymowycz Ok, ok :) I don't like it too, but it's interesting to see self-playing piano. And example of very emotional performance ;)

Too fast.

Pollini's version is better, but I like this one, too.
maert95 3 years ago
The entire piece is too fast, Idil Biret plays it magnificient, for about 10 minutes.

All of you bitching about the finale. Maybe you are used to the "Pianist" movie crap.
aewanko300 3 years ago
No. I'm actually used to the other players performing this piece, i.e. Richter, Argerich, Volodos etc.
I've actually never saw "the pianist".

What you said is true and beautiful like most of Chopins music. I love Chopin's music, I want music played by him... No one else on my Mp3

I couldn't agree more. It ruined the piece. The finale is the most important aspect in my opinion.
