There's a much faster and easier way. Just go to the graybeards place and crouch behind one of the preying graybeards. Make sure your completely hidden, and have an iron dagger. Keep hitting him with the dagger, and you'll have 100 sneak in about 10-15 min.

i found out one wheee you go to solitude (wherever its where the lady gets murdured) and you wait untill like 9:30pm and walk around the cart and stay outa sight of the guard also there is awsome jewlery in display cases.

My sneak is a lvl 100 for doing something else. I went High Hrogther I think thats how it's spelled and go into sneak go behind one of the wizards and keep hitting them with a dagger this will help with sneak and one hand but if they catch you hitting them they will kick or a**. I did this and all of this happened and make sure when your behind one of the wizards safe every time just in case you mess up.

There is also another easier way in about 10-15 minutes.

1.) Head up to the "Throat of the Earth"

2.) Get on to of Paarthurnax the dragon

3.) Crouch

4.) Sneak Attack

Usually if you attack him he would retaliate but since you're on his back all he can do is just sit there and look like a moron. After you get to 100 just hop of and resume your day and he'll act like nothing ever happened! Because you're a NINJA! :)

Sneak attacking Paarthunax is better cuz he doesnt care at all and can't die.

2 daggers at a time, it takes 5 mins to lvl 100.

you dont need to start the game over, but you just need to make sure you dont kill paarthunax.

You can get your sneak to lvl 100 in about 5 minutes before you leave the cave in the beginning of the game. You have to have a dagger, and equip it. Then you put difficulty to master and crouch behind whoever you went to the cave with and keep hitting him. You level your sneak almost every hit and can get it to 100 in 5 minutes.

Actually the easiest way to boost up your sneak skill is to stuck ur char behind some sleeping npc's with autowalk button or some monsters in dungeons which doesnt move.

Why don't you use all three words of the shout? Without any bonuses, it has only a 5 second cooldown, whereas the one you are using has 30-15 seconds. HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON.

You can also just sneak attack the *minor spoiler* Greybeards at High Hrothgar because they won't do anything, can't die and you get a lot of sneak exp. :3

@DubbleJord its best to do it with a low level dagger while they are meditating before you get the backstab and assasin's blade perks. (its the fastest way) and they will attack you attack them while not hidden.
