  • dont waste your time…...

  • i just watch these because father time's voice is soothing. ^.^

  • I hate it when people talk to us like we're autistic, you'd think none of us had ever seen a guitar before...

  • press 2 then 8 for (thin body ..or just playing) press 1 to hear (socks are full) press 7 for (owned) press 8 then 9 for (for just playing without any kind of box)

  • @SparklingMarshall Wow that is him. Crazy stuff.

  • I beg to differ. When I think of a legitimate Jazzbox, I envision a guitar with one floating pickup mounted on the end of the neck.

  • that guy wasted 1:14 and said nothing at all. What a waste of time. :(

  • Thanks, it is very helpful, had forgotten what all those things mentioned were for. We almost sent the guitar back because there was a hole in it, at least now we know it is for Jack, who ever he is. Who would have guessed the switch was for selection , great stuff! Any chance of explaining what an amplification is, thanks

  • Oi lay of this helped me beyond belief, I completely forgot that this guitar had two pickups.

  • Utterly worthless. Apparently, anyone can be an expert on the internet. Especially in Expert Village.

  • Expert Village is an orgy of fail.

  • 字幕邪魔っす

  • BOOOOOOO !!!

  • there were literally no tips at all.

  • ///i wish he would give us a demo of how it sounds,,looks like a Samick

  • You are now watching PBS.

  • I think I've met this guy, does he work at music-go-round in Ann Arbor Michigan? i love that place.

  • They should rename this, "Choosing a musical instrument without hearing how it sounds or what it can do." Guess I'll have to go elsewhere to hear what a jazz box sounds like...

  • expert village officially sucks....

do any of these tutorials help anyone at all????

  • @GPMusicc they havent helped me at all

  • your right it dosnt help anyone with anything

  • I would never buy a jazz-box with pickups mounted to the body. One floating humbucker is the way to go.

  • damn Richard you aren't kidding when you say full body you could hide a small child in that guitar

  • This is what you call a "Tool Box" talking about a jazz guitar.

  • Sheeesh... will Expert Village do a litle bit better job of getting actual experts? Nothing he said was in any way relevant to why someone would want to pick that guitar over another style. And 'Jazz Box' guitar? That is like calling a something 'A Glass Windshield' car.

  • Jazz box is used to describe a guitar used for jazz. Nothing wrong with what he called it.

But true, he didn't really say why you should (or not) pick this one.

  • 'Box guitar' is an old country/blues name referring to an acoustic guitar, where the sides are often perpendicular to the face and back, which are parallel, like a box, and the sound comes out of the sound hole... soundbox, box shape = 'box guitar'.

. The instrument he is holding could be called a lot of things, but his 'commonly known as a jazz box or full sized' just sounds strange. Anyway, a minor quibble.
