And btw. who cares what age she is, it's a beautiful song and she sang it beautifully. I honestly don't understand why it would be such a big deal if a child sang this. @ThePixelFaerie I've read interviews and books where he's admitted a sexual nature can be read into it, but I have to admit, I searched for the bit where he outright says it's about an orgasm and found that I had gotten that from a Radio 2 program where Buckley had said it, not Cohen. I think it's hard to NOT read a sexual component in, if you know Cohen (who once said he never knew a woman unless he'd shared an orgasm), and a popular reading is of sex, but the quote source was wrong. Apologies.

Yes, as i had stated in my original post, that you replied to in a quite condescending manner, that the song can be interpreted in many ways. Just because you choose to interpret the song sexually, even when an 11yr old is singing it, is your prerogative. Just try to remember that other people may interpret it differently.

My other point was that Cohen never outright said "it's about sex". I agree that Cohen added some references, but that's obvious considering the subjects. :P
