  • this band are better when you have no idea what they look like

  • @speedmetal99 Thats a shame, you are a clear example of how the modern music industry has brainwashed most people.

  • @whydoncha

Classic example of irony going out of the window right there

  • surfer blood......nuff said.

  • Surfer Blood is thee best!

  • Anyone notice girl saying ironic at 0.13? Bet it doesn't even apply in this situation. She's just saying it to sound smart!

  • @yougaffer89 The song title is a form of verbal irony wherein they're performing "I'm Not Ready" when they've clearly practiced it, and as others pointed out, it's also not entirely new. I know, I told her the same thing at first, but it works in this context.

  • OMG. YES.

    SURFER BLOOD

  • GOOD SONG!!!

  • can anyone help me out getting some of these lyrics right towards the end--

    how can I believe

???? to be a friend means only of when giving a part of yourself ????

    and ????

when now its clear to me

that you can't be any of these

and we don't have to hold on and try anymore

  • can anyone help me out getting some of these lyrics right towards the end--

    how can I believe

to be your friend means only not when you

    are not yourself

and ?working is staying to go out with others at home ?????

when now its clear to me

    ? that you can't ????

and we don't have to hold on and try anymore

  • @scuabtinne How can I believe?

To be a friend means owning up and giving a part of yourself

And loyalty is staying true no matter what others might tell

And now it's clear to me that you can't be any of these

And we don't have to hold our heads high anymore!

Also, this is one of the first songs this band ever had, when they were TV Club. I know them.

  • re "This song is NOT new..." well I guess its new to their tour. Seen them a few times they always play the LP minus Neighborhood RIffs and Slow Jabroni, with Swim next to last. So this would be new to the touring set.

Sounds like maybe the friend he's singing to is the same one in Anchorage- "you've got a reputation for knowing how to lose your mind.."
