  • im surprised you are not getting a higher voltage output what you made is very similar to a normal fly back transformer (look up frequency controlled ones) or secondary are nothing like a fly backs but i would expect you to get about 4000 volts with a set up like that

  • Congratulations... You made an inefficient, unregulated power inverter.

  • how many amps it draws from the battery?

  • Good work my friend..........always something new, your never worry about failure. Hope you will benefit by being at the Tesla Expo in July, sorry to say I won't be there to meet you

Best wishes to my great friend and super inventor Jorge,

    Richard

  • @hhoforvolts Richard, don`t say NO...! SAY YES...! i will be in TESLA EXPO, you are an important person and serious helpful to listen to your commentaries about your brilliant invension that is the STARSHIP…! IT`S POSSIBLE to meet you in tesla expo...! saludos.

  • What is your amp-draw between the positive of the battery and the connection wire ?

  • Sky, this same set-up will work with the Starship coil. If you haven't tested it yet, give it a try. I have used Rodin toroids, Starship's, Super Starship's and my Star-Challis coil's as Joule Thief coils.

I'll send you a vid of the bulb's ciruit. A couple of guys here on Youtube have vids showing them.

  • @mikepowers420 yes, i test a ferrite disck, is a STARSHIP coil and no sound, it works very well...! saludos.

  • Sky, CKT = circuit

Just under the bulb, in the base - the white plastic part - there is a pulse circuit. It's a simple circuit that has a transistor, some resisters and a ferrite toroid core coil. Take your time, cut the seam were the base is joined together and have a look. Make sure you don't break the bulb, it has mercury gas in it. When I open the bases on these kinds of bulbs, I do it outside just in case the bulb breaks

  • Sky, there is another CKT inside the bulbs base. It has a pulsed coil in it with a transistor and a capacitor. If you open the base with care, you will see the pulse CKT.

    Thank you for sharing...
