Beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes. First heard this old gospel song on through the bible with J McGee and this man does a lovely job of modernizing it.

we sang this song in the Mission Minded Network Conference. If you're wondering, that's in Sydney. Anyway, it's stuck in my head now. Good Gospel song.
I was at CentriFUGE camp this week and this song was by far the most moving. It brought chills to my body and tears to my eyes. With over 600 students there plus all the staffers and youth leaders, by the end of the song, I don't think there was one person without their hands up praising the Lord, who paid it ALL!!! :D <3
I was at Exponential Church Planting 2011. One of the helpers became a Christian through her time working with ppl there. Rick Warren baptized her at the conference and we sang this song! It was amazing! I have it on video
For anyone who is looking for a biblical explanation of the gospel and salvation, I would highly recommend checking out the scribd website that is listed on my channel. The scripture references given on there make it very clear and easy to understand.
Don't worry about those who persecute us a Christians. Remember Jesus was persecuted and there were people who hated him everywhere he went and he never did anything wrong to anybody. So how do we figure we're gonna get away with anything Scott free when we've all made mistakes and fallen short and Jesus who lived a perfect life was condemned by many all the way up to his death.
Our pastor presented a good point in his "Easter" sermon. He said, If Jesus was just a man and not God, why, why would He have died on the cross? When He went to trial they found Him not guilty. When asked to defend Himself, He didn't. Instead, he bore humiliation, excruciating pain, and death....FOR US! What MAN would do that for no reason?
@MegaPocketninja I don't think it is worth arguing with them. If they want to argue or bash us, it is best to ignore them. Pray for them and let God do the work. He doesn't need us small beings to defend Him...an almighty God.
@crimsonfire20 We are supposed to preach, it's true. But if people are dissing on God, in my opinion, they're probably not ready for us to try to preach to them. The best thing we can do is pray and let the Holy Spirit do His thing.
I was a Buddhist before I became Christian. I didn't believe in Jesus, God, or any deity. Just good deeds, and good deeds lead to Enlightenment. Jesus taught me to be a better husband to my wife, a father to my daughter, and son to my parents. Jesus teachings applies to everyone, How to be a better husband, how to raise our kids, how to treat our parents. Thanks to Passion 2000 in TX, I was there among thousands of people worshiping one true God. Thanks to Chris Tomlin, who led worship.
@phuong6936 Amen! And even better He died for our sins and was resurrected so we'd not have to go to hell but spend eternity in heaven glorifying our Father.
kristian is amazing along with a new worship band called Red Letter Hymnal. Red Letter Hymnal’s got some incredibly catchy songs on youtube, and itunes too
This song only has 294,619 views?? All these other videos that distract others from God are having over millions of views. We need to show the love of God to others and share this video. Cause I know I feel Gods presence through this video. So lets show the love of God by sharing this video to everyone we know!
@lacrosse8811 there are more than one on here though, don't be too discouraged. i had the opportunity to see him at CHALLENGE '10 and ever since then.....it brought much more meaning. i didn't know who he was before then, God certainly gave him an excellent gift. :] the light of God flows from his heart. as well as his guitar strings ;]
to dakotafanning:yeah, it's the devil, but you're gonna fight him all your life. ask the lord to guide you to some genuine christians who can help you to reconnect with the lord, and recapture your zeal. the first step is to want it and it sounds like you're already there.
@dakotafanning1106011 i don't know how far u have come in ur walk with God, but i also have had the same problem, before taking baptism and being born again i was on fire for God and very passionate, but soon God let go of his hand and taougt me how to be strong and in that time i started to doubt and lost my passion, but take steps of faith and u will see things happen and now i'm on fire for our SAVIOR again!! Praise God
Being a Christian means you believe and live out the life in response to Jesus the Christ's death on the Cross. My mother also has the same thoughts as you - she finds herself bitter and laughing at hypocritical Christians. I guess that is why we need to read the Word of God - the holy bible, and learn to do application and prayer after bible study. This way, we may give God Glory by letting him change us and show the world his love.
Once you make that Decision to be a Christian which means to have a relationship with God, the devil doesnt want to lose you and therefore see's you as a threat, because once your used by God your gonna be able to defeat him, so the devil drops everything comes and sends demons to you, to bring you down, PRAISE GOD when your being attacked, its spiritual ofcourse, But Praise GOD because you are seen as Worthy for that battle to happen, your seen as a threat
@dakotafanning1106011 IT IS the devil. Seek God...There are dry seasons in Christian walks, but God is always there with open arms welcoming you back no matter how much you reject Him...
@dakotafanning1106011 Could be you never knew the Lord at all. If you are condemned in your heart God is greater than your heart and knows all things. For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. You don't need to convince yourself that you are saved because it is a given assurance that NO ONE can take away from you, including the devil himself. Don't listen to man, listen to God. If He is convicting your heart count it a blessing and deal with your sin. In Jesus we overcome.
Your ever lasting love for us Jesus never stops amazing. Praise the One who paid our debts, who washed my sins and took my shame on the cross. God thank You for everything that You are
How can you not fall to your knees when you hear this song and sing along with it.......my hands ALWAYS go up when I sing this song!!!! YES JESUS DID PAY FOR OUR SINS!!!!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!!!!
i love the way the sound and the crowd just explode
it's so beautiful and so moving! Kristian Stanfill is playing where I live and I'm so pumped to see him. Switchfoot, Starfield, Hawk Nelson and a few others.
To tears I fall before God. His Love is there, here, in my darkest hour. His Light just won't stop shining on this child of weakness. Thank you Jesus for never letting go. God, You never walk away!
This argument reminds me of Judas being so angry that Mary would waste money on oil for Jesus when it could have been given to the poor. How easy for us to come and judge this financial endeavor and detract from the entire message of the song - Jeusus paid it all! All to Him I owe. Oh Praise Him!
Thanks for the reminder, redwolf. May the Lord be praised for the life He is to us. When Jesus promises that will have life in abundance He was referring to Himself! The life that has been imparted to us is Christ Himself. He lives in us. What a beautiful mystery.
But still. I urge all of us to ask ourselves the impact of our actions. As followers of Christ we adhere to the two great loves (God and others). Let's make sure we are doing both as best we know how :).
Alekrunko have you been to a passion? cause if you have i dont think you would be saying what you are saying. its not all about what happens on that stage there are so many other things that happen at passion event that the stage could be the most basic thing and it would not matter. God shows up and completely blows you away even if you know what to expect.
YES! I love this. I completely agree. All we need is the Spirit of God to show up and... there you have it: a God-glorifying, life-giving, hear-changing, spirit-lifting experience. So in light of this i ask: do we need to spend exorbitant amount of dollars for stages like the one on this video. Oh goodness! I love this song so much! :)
@alekrunko, why are you so caught up on the cost of all this? How do you know how much it costs? I see a cross, and a bunch of candles. Perhaps God used this event to help some christian candlemaker and carpenter that were struggling. Perhaps the materials and labor were volunteered. Likely the stage was reused from other events that happen in that venue. I'm just sayin' As Christians, we have to respect other viewpoints and have unity on the essentials... like Jesus is THE way.
@allnelsons: totally agree. The stage and set up at Passion could have cot nothing. But my comment goes beyond this video. I'm offering an honest reflection on what I see happening in Christianity and society today. Worship is changing into this really extravagant sensorial-overload of an experience. just look at most of the live worship videos on youtube. there are two things that break my heart (!) here.
1. Have we come to love the experience more than God and giving Him glory?
2. By throwing lavish events like these, are we forgetting our brothers who are in need?
maybe not. But I pray we all consider and think. May the Lord guide our thoughts and not our own preferences or cultural framework. Sorry if what I wrote was inflammatory, but I felt like it needs to be said. We are a body. We are to look out for each other and encourage each other towards Christ. In love.
and use whatever was left to bless those who are really in need. just because the spiritual is what awaits us doesn't mean we should ignore or disregard the hell people are going through in the physical at this moment. What a witness it is when we sacrifice comfort and unnecessarily lavish experiences to meet the needs of others out of LOVE. For man has seen no greater love than this: that a man lay down his life for the life of his brother. aaaaand i'm done with the rant. love this song.
@alekrunko you have such heart for those who are less fortunate than us..! I urge you to go out and make a change yourself! Nothing ever came of preaching at youtube videos.
And even if those that hold passion are "wasting money", they are giving glory to God in the way that they can. They are influencing the individuals that come to passion.
We are all called to give glory to God in the ways that he has blessed and gifted us. This is what kristian has been called to do. How about you?
@ sushyisama: I know one gets in trouble for saying the things I said. Sorry if it came across as offensive... it was said form a heavy heart, and a heart that loves God and the Kingdom Jesus came to bring. As a passionate worshiper, I know the glory that God receives when multitudes gather to worship him. I believe in corporate worship. I just don't believe in lavish spending. Nor in reinforcing the over-stimulation that is apparently required nowadays for a meaningful/lasting experience.
It's not the props, lights, freakin enormity of the stage, amazing sound that is changing and breaking and brining God's presence to Passion or any other worship experience... it's God HIMSELF. It is HIS Spirit. That's IT. the rest is just extra. Stuff that we have become dependent on for a meaningful worship experience. Instead of throwing lavish concerts that become money sinks, throw some grass-roots acoustic shows at homes or church buildings...
sorry to be the downer here (totally consecrated, transformed, passionate part of the Beloved speaking here)... but what a waste of money. goodness. i don't even want to begin thinking how much it cost to put that stage together. it's kind of sad how we need to overstimulate everyone now a days to provide what's considered "a lasting, meaningful, spirit-filled, life-changing experience."
I have had a lot happen to me in the past ten years and I always tried to fix things on my own which wasn't God's way. He wants you to look upon him and you will always find him when he is the only one left to look upon!!!! I found him tonight and I'm so THANKFUL!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!
free357, you make some good points. i wonder, though, the science and technology that brings us so much progress, the internet, the youtube, the computers, having seemingly deep, intimate, heartfelt conversations across thousands of miles, is that what life is about? is that what brings us fulfillment? purpose? meaning? why live at all if the end of every endeavor is simply momentary pleasure and the advancement of science?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
mindquaker, are you a quaker?
so many denominations, so many beliefs... catolics, 20.000 different kinds of protestants, the orthodox, jews, muslims, hindus, budhists... and all of them believe they are the ones with the truth... some of them respect other religions, some claim divine authority for themselves, and on what grounds? on their holy books and their own interpretations, their own wild ideas and personal imagination.
as for jesus - when you talk to jesus, you simply talk to yourself.
i needn't read the book of james, i studied theology for 5 years... the more you get into it, the more you realize the emtpiness and the brainwashing mechanisms of religion and religious leaders. there is simply nothing there. just because we want to believe there is something there, doesn't make it real.
the only thing that brings us progress is science and technology. if there wasn't for technology, there would be no computers, no internet, no youtube, and we couldn't do this. think about it.
well, if you look at it that way, how come our super "intelligent" society today cannot do what the Eygptians did? Our technology today cant even build what the Eygptians did...so your preachings of technology holds no water.....i could do without computers and youtube, but our society cannot live without it....the people back then, i believe, were smarter than we are...and you....think about it
What does "studying theology" get you? There are plenty of smart athleists and Christians arguing "facts" on both sides. However Christianity isn't about religion, it's about a relationship with Jesus. Why do so many of us believe? It has nothing to do with what we read, and everything to do with what we encounter. I've experienced miracles, I've felt the hand of God on my life. I feel good about that, you can keep your theology books.
I watched this documentary on Jonestown and I kept thinking if these people had just known what the Bible said, if they had just known Gods will, they never would have fallen for such a lie. The Bible can be used in several ways, either to draw us into a closer walk with our Savior, or a tool to prove that I'm right, and they're wrong. The Bible says " Be wise as a serpent and harmless as doves" Did you think about the fact that your arguing an "anti theology", theology. Just food for thought.
Free357 what the heck man? why would you say the word bull crap. You implied something that is unacceptable. Read the book of james please GOD bless all of you
too bad about your dad, but dads have to die in order to make room for their offspring, and so the life cycle continues... my dad will die as well, but he will live long enough to see his grandson... then i will die, hopefully after i see my own grandson, and so on, and so on...
bull*** about the dead dining with the king of kings and lord of lords just make me wanna puke.
people, get a hold of yourself... enjoy life while it lasts if you can, live well, and accept death for what it is...
death is the penalty for sin, one day you will die because you have sinned against God. Lying, stealing, cursing His name, looking with lust, hatred, these are all violations of His law, yor conscience knows it. there is a hell for law breakers and God is just and must punish sin
8yrs, I am so sorry about your dad but it's so awesome that in your time of pain you turned to God. Your dad is now dinning with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords so keep reminding yourself of that when things are tough.
decent song. wish i could say i had faith same as yall =/ unfortunately im agnostic. theres a huge different between believing, WANTING to believe, and -having faith-. Im not going to say im christian and then act like a d-bag like so many "christians" nowadays, but to be an honest christian, you have to have undying faith.. and i just dont have it =/ if anyone has advice, itd be apreciated. I'm 14 btw, so theres still time to see which road ill go down =j
Romans 10:17 says " Yet faith comes from listening to this Good News - the Good News about Christ". . get close to God.... how? just talk to Him like you talk to a friend, tell Him how you feel about everything in your life, trust Him, believe He is with you in every time and every moment of your life.. it´s a promise He gave us (Matthew 28:20) . .read His word (the bible) and He is going to give you what you are looking for. . (Matthew 21:22) He loves you so much . . . : )
thats what i dont get... I know theres more than one kind of love -- I love my family, I love my best friend more than anything that is or ever will be, and I've been in love with a girlfriend before. Would not a love of a ruler, a higher being, be a 4th kind of love? Ex. if you talk to your father like you talk to your best friend he'll either laugh at you, stare at you like "what the hell" or tell you to show respect because he's of higher authority
God hasn't just been my father, but he's also been a best friend! God showed us His love for us on the cross. it was the greatest love ever, "the love of someone who lays down their life for their friends," John 15:3. God gives us the greatest love: love that is greater then any other thing, such as friends and family etc. and i know from my walk with Christ that He's been more than a friend and father for me. He's been a marvelous mystery!
thats good, God has been my father as well even though my real dad is dead Jesus has been my father and my comfort and with him i can do anything, without God i am nothing. i love Jesus i dont know wer i would b today wqithout him, he brought me out of depression and alcohol and drugs. he gave me purpose and is using me to lead his people, as of right now i am at Bible college to become a missionary and a youth pastor
God's love is different from all these others becasue you can never do anything to lose it. No matter what you do to God, He will always love you and will always be there for you when you need Him, as long as you believe in Him and have faith that He will be there for you.
not nessesarily he has an undying love he loves you more than anyone else can after all he did create you "for you created my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" (Ps139:13)
he is always there waiting for you to just turn to him
i hope this helps i'm 14 aswell, i'm a commited christian but i am far from perfect.
That's what makes God different... he is father who listens and undersands like a friend.... a father is a permanent thing... a person who always be with you becuase with out him u won't exist... but a friend is not merely a spearate person... it's a character a personality consiting attrivutes like hospitiality, trust, love, concern, etc a father should not be any different from this..... who says a father can't or shoudn't be both......God is not any different.
you don't respect God because he's a higher authority... you respect your firends don't you? You respect his purpose in your life... a purpose he has implanted in you... a gift if i may say... it is an eternal purpose,.. a Christian respects God becuase he has denied himself to allow God's will and his ways to define him.....that is what love truly is my friend...
You're right. No one can make you believe in Christ. It's a heart change. The desires change and therefore the actions change. The person isn't perfect but there is something that is different.
If you're looking to learn about the character of Jesus, I would recommend that you read the book of John.
It's true that you have time to see what road you'll go down. You're 14. However, remember that no one is promised tomorrow. God bless. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Reading through all these comments, I am amazed at how many people I see trolling and shooting those of us who believe in God down.
and then I remember,
Jesus never said that following him would be easy
He said we would be persecuted for our faith
So I have a thought
What if...
We ignored those who are making useless comments about the Lord our God, and continue to worship Him with everything in us,
just to tell Satan that he is powerless against our God?
MegaPocketninja 9 months ago 78

to dakotafanning:yeah, it's the devil, but you're gonna fight him all your life. ask the lord to guide you to some genuine christians who can help you to reconnect with the lord, and recapture your zeal. the first step is to want it and it sounds like you're already there.

Praise God

Hey DakotaFanning,
Being a Christian means you believe and live out the life in response to Jesus the Christ's death on the Cross. My mother also has the same thoughts as you - she finds herself bitter and laughing at hypocritical Christians. I guess that is why we need to read the Word of God - the holy bible, and learn to do application and prayer after bible study. This way, we may give God Glory by letting him change us and show the world his love.
Amen !!

Seek God...There are dry seasons in Christian walks, but God is always there with open arms welcoming you back no matter how much you reject Him...
qtjoel 1 year ago
@dakotafanning1106011 Could be you never knew the Lord at all. If you are condemned in your heart God is greater than your heart and knows all things. For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. You don't need to convince yourself that you are saved because it is a given assurance that NO ONE can take away from you, including the devil himself. Don't listen to man, listen to God. If He is convicting your heart count it a blessing and deal with your sin. In Jesus we overcome.

This argument reminds me of Judas being so angry that Mary would waste money on oil for Jesus when it could have been given to the poor. How easy for us to come and judge this financial endeavor and detract from the entire message of the song - Jeusus paid it all! All to Him I owe. Oh Praise Him!
redw0lf24 1 year ago 3
Thanks for the reminder, redwolf. May the Lord be praised for the life He is to us. When Jesus promises that will have life in abundance He was referring to Himself! The life that has been imparted to us is Christ Himself. He lives in us. What a beautiful mystery.
But still. I urge all of us to ask ourselves the impact of our actions. As followers of Christ we adhere to the two great loves (God and others). Let's make sure we are doing both as best we know how :).

wow. seeing how many people makes me wanna go to passion. is it in the summer?
Bulldawgnation1 2 years ago
Alekrunko have you been to a passion? cause if you have i dont think you would be saying what you are saying. its not all about what happens on that stage there are so many other things that happen at passion event that the stage could be the most basic thing and it would not matter. God shows up and completely blows you away even if you know what to expect.
sprunkmaster1 2 years ago
alekrunko 2 years ago
@alekrunko, why are you so caught up on the cost of all this? How do you know how much it costs? I see a cross, and a bunch of candles. Perhaps God used this event to help some christian candlemaker and carpenter that were struggling. Perhaps the materials and labor were volunteered. Likely the stage was reused from other events that happen in that venue. I'm just sayin' As Christians, we have to respect other viewpoints and have unity on the essentials... like Jesus is THE way.
allnelsons 2 years ago
@allnelsons: totally agree. The stage and set up at Passion could have cot nothing. But my comment goes beyond this video. I'm offering an honest reflection on what I see happening in Christianity and society today. Worship is changing into this really extravagant sensorial-overload of an experience. just look at most of the live worship videos on youtube. there are two things that break my heart (!) here.
alekrunko 2 years ago
@allnelsons: (continued)
In love.

bigwhituff 2 years ago
and use whatever was left to bless those who are really in need. just because the spiritual is what awaits us doesn't mean we should ignore or disregard the hell people are going through in the physical at this moment. What a witness it is when we sacrifice comfort and unnecessarily lavish experiences to meet the needs of others out of LOVE. For man has seen no greater love than this: that a man lay down his life for the life of his brother. aaaaand i'm done with the rant. love this song.
alekrunko 2 years ago

Nor in reinforcing the over-stimulation that is apparently required nowadays for a meaningful/lasting experience.
alekrunko 2 years ago
good point cuz i do the exact same thing, God's people shining some light on the subject, amen! :)
wooowmeato 1 year ago
It's not the props, lights, freakin enormity of the stage, amazing sound that is changing and breaking and brining God's presence to Passion or any other worship experience... it's God HIMSELF. It is HIS Spirit. That's IT. the rest is just extra. Stuff that we have become dependent on for a meaningful worship experience. Instead of throwing lavish concerts that become money sinks, throw some grass-roots acoustic shows at homes or church buildings...
alekrunko 2 years ago
sorry to be the downer here (totally consecrated, transformed, passionate part of the Beloved speaking here)... but what a waste of money. goodness. i don't even want to begin thinking how much it cost to put that stage together. it's kind of sad how we need to overstimulate everyone now a days to provide what's considered "a lasting, meaningful, spirit-filled, life-changing experience."

free357, you make some good points. i wonder, though, the science and technology that brings us so much progress, the internet, the youtube, the computers, having seemingly deep, intimate, heartfelt conversations across thousands of miles, is that what life is about? is that what brings us fulfillment? purpose? meaning? why live at all if the end of every endeavor is simply momentary pleasure and the advancement of science?

mindquaker, are you a quaker?
so many denominations, so many beliefs... catolics, 20.000 different kinds of protestants, the orthodox, jews, muslims, hindus, budhists... and all of them believe they are the ones with the truth... some of them respect other religions, some claim divine authority for themselves, and on what grounds? on their holy books and their own interpretations, their own wild ideas and personal imagination.
as for jesus - when you talk to jesus, you simply talk to yourself.

i needn't read the book of james, i studied theology for 5 years... the more you get into it, the more you realize the emtpiness and the brainwashing mechanisms of religion and religious leaders. there is simply nothing there. just because we want to believe there is something there, doesn't make it real.
the only thing that brings us progress is science and technology. if there wasn't for technology, there would be no computers, no internet, no youtube, and we couldn't do this. think about it.
free357 2 years ago
well, if you look at it that way, how come our super "intelligent" society today cannot do what the Eygptians did? Our technology today cant even build what the Eygptians did...so your preachings of technology holds no water.....i could do without computers and youtube, but our society cannot live without it....the people back then, i believe, were smarter than we are...and you....think about it
DUSTandROSE 2 years ago
What does "studying theology" get you? There are plenty of smart athleists and Christians arguing "facts" on both sides. However Christianity isn't about religion, it's about a relationship with Jesus. Why do so many of us believe? It has nothing to do with what we read, and everything to do with what we encounter. I've experienced miracles, I've felt the hand of God on my life. I feel good about that, you can keep your theology books.
saved33ad 2 years ago 3
I watched this documentary on Jonestown and I kept thinking if these people had just known what the Bible said, if they had just known Gods will, they never would have fallen for such a lie. The Bible can be used in several ways, either to draw us into a closer walk with our Savior, or a tool to prove that I'm right, and they're wrong. The Bible says " Be wise as a serpent and harmless as doves" Did you think about the fact that your arguing an "anti theology", theology. Just food for thought.

death is the penalty for sin, one day you will die because you have sinned against God. Lying, stealing, cursing His name, looking with lust, hatred, these are all violations of His law, yor conscience knows it. there is a hell for law breakers and God is just and must punish sin

decent song. wish i could say i had faith same as yall =/ unfortunately im agnostic. theres a huge different between believing, WANTING to believe, and -having faith-. Im not going to say im christian and then act like a d-bag like so many "christians" nowadays, but to be an honest christian, you have to have undying faith.. and i just dont have it =/ if anyone has advice, itd be apreciated. I'm 14 btw, so theres still time to see which road ill go down =j
ctcccromer 2 years ago 2
Romans 10:17 says " Yet faith comes from listening to this Good News - the Good News about Christ". . get close to God.... how? just talk to Him like you talk to a friend, tell Him how you feel about everything in your life, trust Him, believe He is with you in every time and every moment of your life.. it´s a promise He gave us (Matthew 28:20) . .read His word (the bible) and He is going to give you what you are looking for. . (Matthew 21:22) He loves you so much . . . : )
nayCortes 2 years ago 2
thats what i dont get...
I want to believe he's there, but i cant

God hasn't just been my father, but he's also been a best friend! God showed us His love for us on the cross. it was the greatest love ever, "the love of someone who lays down their life for their friends," John 15:3. God gives us the greatest love: love that is greater then any other thing, such as friends and family etc. and i know from my walk with Christ that He's been more than a friend and father for me. He's been a marvelous mystery!
xlXS3THXlx 2 years ago 2
thats good, God has been my father as well even though my real dad is dead Jesus has been my father and my comfort and with him i can do anything, without God i am nothing. i love Jesus i dont know wer i would b today wqithout him, he brought me out of depression and alcohol and drugs. he gave me purpose and is using me to lead his people, as of right now i am at Bible college to become a missionary and a youth pastor
MrKylehass 2 years ago
God's love is different from all these others becasue you can never do anything to lose it. No matter what you do to God, He will always love you and will always be there for you when you need Him, as long as you believe in Him and have faith that He will be there for you.
whitneya20 2 years ago
not nessesarily he has an undying love he loves you more than anyone else can after all he did create you "for you created my innermost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb" (Ps139:13)
he is always there waiting for you to just turn to him
i hope this helps i'm 14 aswell, i'm a commited christian but i am far from perfect.
God bless
angelinamagicley 2 years ago
That's what makes God different... he is father who listens and undersands like a friend.... a father is a permanent thing... a person who always be with you becuase with out him u won't exist... but a friend is not merely a spearate person... it's a character a personality consiting attrivutes like hospitiality, trust, love, concern, etc a father should not be any different from this..... who says a father can't or shoudn't be both......God is not any different.
JJacob23 2 years ago
i neede moe space to say this lol
you don't respect God because he's a higher authority... you respect your firends don't you? You respect his purpose in your life... a purpose he has implanted in you... a gift if i may say... it is an eternal purpose,.. a Christian respects God becuase he has denied himself to allow God's will and his ways to define him.....that is what love truly is my friend...
JJacob23 2 years ago
You're right. No one can make you believe in Christ. It's a heart change. The desires change and therefore the actions change. The person isn't perfect but there is something that is different.
If you're looking to learn about the character of Jesus, I would recommend that you read the book of John.
It's true that you have time to see what road you'll go down. You're 14. However, remember that no one is promised tomorrow. God bless. If you have questions, feel free to ask.
